"GET OUT YOU WORTHLESS BRAT!"
My so-called 'mother' yelled as she threw me from the car, my small scarred body hitting the ground with a heavy thud. The sound of screeching tires reached my ears, dust flew up into the air, coughing, I watched as she drove off. Looking around, I noticed I was in a desert of sorts, no buildings were in sight. Or so I thought, squinting my eyes, I could faintly see a large building in the distance. Grunting, I pushed myself off the ground and brushed off my dirty (F/C) dress. Deciding to head towards the building, I began to walk.
The sun's heat beat down on my back, small beads of sweat began to drip down my forehead. Using my arm, I wiped them away and sighed, "If this goes on any longer, I'll die.", Looking ahead, I noticed the building was getting closer. Grunting, I began to run, my bare feet tripping over a rock now and then. Eventually, I made it to the front door, panting, I leaned against the door and sighed, "Finally, some shade.", Suddenly the door swung open, "Ah!", Falling backward, I landed on my back. Looking up, I saw a grey ceiling with dirty lights. Sitting up, I rubbed my head and grunted at the slight pain, "Coo?", Flinching, I turned my head left and right but saw no one.
Suddenly, a small weight occupied my head, looking up, I saw a white bird, "Coo?", Sighing, I reached a hand up and stroked it's head, "So it was you who made that noise.", Standing, with the bird still on my head, I began to walk down the hallway. It was silent for the most part, the only noises were the bird, and some other sounds echoing from different parts of the building. My small feet gently padded down the hall, I was about to turn the corner when I heard a voice,
"Hey! Stop hogging all the chicken!"
Freezing in place, I held my breath as I turned in the direction of the voice. More shouting ensued as I approached, it was when I turned a corner when I saw an open door. Quietly, I approached the door and peeked through the crack.
....
....
IT WAS FULL OF PEOPLE!
My eyes widened, 'I thought this place was empty! Damn, now what?', Looking up at the bird, I noticed it sucked in a small breath,
"Coo!"~
My face went blank for a second, then it exploded with fear, 'You little bastard!', Taking a quick step back, I started to run down the hall, while the bird had flown into the room. The creak of the door opening hit my ears, turning my head, I saw a tall and skinny guy looking out. His eyes met mine, "Hey!", Then he started to chase after me, "Eep!", I squeaked and started to run faster. Whipping around a corner, I noticed the door I used to come in, 'If I get outside, I can escape him easily!', Putting on a determined face, I pushed my legs to go faster. The door was only six feet in front of me......
...
...when I felt arms wrap around my waist.
"Gah!", I yelped when I was forced back into his chest. His arms quickly tightened around my waist as I began to struggle, I pushed my small hands against his arms, "Let me go! You bastard!", He started to carry me down the hall and back towards the room he was just in. Using his foot, he gently kicked open the door, "Found 'er.", I began to kick his stomach, "I said let go you asshole!", Reaching down, I sank my teeth into his arms drawing a few small drops of blood, "Ow! What the 'ell kid?!", He quickly yanked his arm from my mouth and held me up by the back of my dress, "Jesus! What's your problem?!", Grunting, I reached up and pulled at his hand, "Let me go you fucker! I swear I'll tear you apart!"
Another man approached us, he wore a brown hat and sunglasses, not to mention he was tall and lanky. Reaching out, he grabbed the back of my dress and held me to his eyes, "Well aren't you a little ankle-biter!", Growling, I lifted my leg and smashed it into his face. A crack resonated throughout the room, his now shattered glasses fell to the floor, along with a few drops of blood. His hand loosened and I fell to the floor, but once I hit the ground I made a run for the door. Before I could reach it, a man in a hard hat and goggles slammed it shut. Skidding to a stop, I fell backward but quickly scrambled to my feet and made a dash for the open window.
Another pair of arms wrapped around my waist and lifted me off the ground, looking down at the arms, I noticed how much larger they were than the other two I've encountered. At first, I tried to struggle, but after realizing how the arms didn't even budge I gave in and stayed still. After a few minutes, everything had settled down and now I was placed on a crate with everyone looking at me. Feeling uncomfortable, I looked at the window, "Don't even think about it Darlin', you won't be gettin' out of here that easy. Might as well sit tight.", Looking over at the hard hat guy, I narrowed my eyes, "Fuck off.", Pulling my legs to my chest, I continued to stare out the window.
The first guy who grabbed me walked over with his hands on his hips, " You know you should watch how you talk to people, some don't take too kindly to people saying those kinds of things.", Glaring up at him, I grunted out an answer, "So what if they have a problem with it? They can go fuck themselves for all I care.", He sighed and put his hand on my head. Flinching, I quickly shoved his hand off my head, "Please don't touch me.", Raising a brow, he said, "Why not?", Looking back out the window, I said, "It's not my favorite thing in the world."
