2.
It was clear that my parents aren't coming back for me so I started to unpacking my clothes and other stuff like photos of my friends and teddybear.
As I was almost done I heard a bell. I think it was like the bell you hear on Christmas but I haven't heard him for a while now so I wasn't really sure.
"Girls. Dinner!" As the bell stopped ringing the lady that greeted me some time ago yelled. I sighed and went out of the room.
As I reached the kitchen the table was almost full. I felt every eye on me as the girls were watching me.
Now I knew why this Angelique was impresed by my hair. Every girl here had hers short. Some girls shorter than others but still - mine were the longest.
"Hi." I said and went to one seat that was empty.
I sat down and in a minute we had our plates in front of us. The meal didn't look bad itself. It was some pasta. And I was that kind of person who could have lived just on pasta.
Everyone started eating and I freezed. I turned to a girl on my right.
"You guys do not pray before the meal?" I asked a little bit shocked.
Girl on my left bursted out laughing. I turned to her and she now tried to hold her laugh. K. What was so funny?
"Terri? What happened?" The woman in the front of the table asked. I guess she was the principal of this place. As she asked she was dead serious.
"Nothing. I am sorry." She apologized and held her fork tighter.
"Good." She responded and everything went more silent if it was even possible.

After dinner came servants and cleaned it all up. Every girl put their hands in their lap and held their gaze somewhere down.
The lady stood up and started to walk around the table. Are we in military or something?
"So girls. As you may noticed we have a new friend here." The girls raised their heads and all looked up at me. Some of them smiled at me and some of them just stared. I bet it was because of my hair. I seriously wanted to know what was the deal with those haircuts.
She stepped behind me and put her hands on my shoulders. It was a soft touch and I waited for what was going to happen.
"Can you introduce yourself darling?" As she spoke out all the girls gasped. Another thing I didn't know anything about.
I cleared my throat and started to speak.
"I'm Agnes. And uh.. I came from Seattle." I didn't know what to say. That was weird feeling because I always had something to say.
"Okay. Now you can all go." She released us and stopped me as I was in door.
"Agnes. Come with me for a sec." She reached out her hand and put it around my shoulders as she led me into her office I think.
"So you know we are a school. And every school has their own rules. And we are not an exception." She told me when we walked into her office. There were vook everywhere. Huge bookshelfs all around the room. And if they could stay still in the ceiling I think it would be there as well.
I just nodded to her sentence and waited for her to continue.
I have always been cheeky and garulous but now. I didn't know what they will do to me if I said a thing when I was not asked to.
"I want you to go through this - " She put a big book in front of me on the desk. " and I want you to read every single article. It will be better for you if you follow this. Trust me."
"Are you serious? This book has like million pages!" I shouted in shock.
"Watch your tone Agnes. I am not your mother so don't talk to me like that." Her voice was calm. I looked at her and realized that her her was almost pong as mine. Her blond hair reached to her waist in a little curly way.
"You're right. I'm sorry." I apologized. It was not her fault that I was stuck in here.
"So now take it and read it. Carefully. I would not like you to get any harm in here. Unless you break some of the rules. In that case I will punish you."
"Yes ma'am." I took the book from the desk. It was heavy as it had like million pages.
"Good night Agnes."
"Good night." And I realized I didn't know her name. She didn't seem to be bothered by that. So I just left.
As I was back in my room i laid down on my new bed amd opened the book. I immedietly felt the smell of eldness.
"Ok book. Tell me what I can do here."
