Sky's POV

I sat on Brett's bed, since he had the best view of the tv, and scrolled trough the movies, settling on an old zombie movie. I laid down, cuddling under the covers with the windows open and heat off, just so I could. Brett came in  few minutes later, saying nothing, and laid down next to me, pulling me into his chest and held me tightly. He used his free hand to play with my ponytail as watched the movie.

"Sky?" He asked, settling down and wrapping both arms around me.

"Yeah, Brett?" I asked, snuggling into his chest more.

"I'm glad you're mine." He said kissing my temple.

I smiled to myself, "Same." I sighed happily. I guess I never knew what it was like.

"Good," He murmured, and we went silent, watching the movie together. The night ended quickly, and soon, JP was in and fast asleep. I fell asleep in Brett's arms, still in my shirt and shorts, and still with his big arms wrapped tightly around me, keeping me safe.

Morning came soon, the sun streaming through the blinds, making me groan loudly, waking everyone up. We had a rare morning game, yippee for us, and we had to be at the field by 9:30. I glanced at Brett's watch on the table next to me, and saw it was already 8:30. I got up and stood under the water, until someone banged on the door, yelling at me hurry up.

I dried off and dressed myself in my uniform I brought with me in the bathroom and braided my hair, leaving it fall down my back. I walked out, grabbing my phone, wallet and hotel key, and met some of the guys downstairs.

"Morning. sleepyhed." Josh laughed. To be honest, I wasn't fully awake yet, even after the long shower.

"Whatever. I don't need your sass." I shrugged.

"Or what? You'll sit me?" He smirked and I glared.

"Don't think I won't." I warned and he put his hands up innocently. I flipped him off and we waited for the others to come and join us so we could leave for the stadium.

|Game|

Brett swung at a curve ball and nailed it out to left field without giving the outfield a chance for a snag. That gives him another grand slam under his belt.

"QUIET!" I hissed when he came close to second base, and everyone remained seated and ignoeed him as he came into the dug out. He started laughing while he put his helmet away. He came over to me as I leaned on the fence in my spot, and he put a hand on the small of my back and kissed my cheek.

"That was for you." He said. I glanced at him, breaking a smile and everyone started to cheer. He grabbed my face and pulled me in for a kiss, making everybody in the dug out cheer. I blushed and smacked Brett's shoulder.

"What was that for?" he asked, pouting. I kissed his pouted lips and laughed.

"For being so damn cute, that's why!"

A/N: Sorry it's tiny. I have really bad witer's block and have no idea what to do with this book! Any ideas?
