The ill Fusion

                    ~Chapter 1~
"Let's go!" called Garnet ushering the other two gems to the warp pad.
   "I want to come! Pleeease!" the small boy bagged as he ran toward the others.
  "Alright, but it's going to be dangerous"
  "Garnet! He can't come!" Pearl protested as Steven walked on to the pad.

                       ~3 hours later~
Pearl bubbled the gem and followed the others to the warp pad.
   "That was fun!" Laughed Amethyst
   "FUN! We could have died!" Yelled Pearl to the small gem.
   "But we didn't" replied Amethyst under her breath, with slight annoyance.
They warped back home
   "Well done Steven. Your shield saved us. I'm heading to the temple don't come looking for me." Garnet said to the others as she proceeded to the door, she entered and the door sealed behind her.
   "I'm going to go to the Big Donut to tell Lars and Sadie how I saved everyone" exclaimed Steven excitedly.
    "Alright have fun" Pearl said as she watched the little boy leave

               ~In Garnet's room~
Garnet sat on the floor of her fire-y bedroom holding her head. She wasn't hit in the head during the mission so why did it pound and hurt so bad?
   "Garnet?"
She heard a small voice call. Moaning from the sound causing more pain in her head, she turned to see who called her. Upon noticing that it was Pearl, the fusion stud up, swaying slightly for the sudden movement caused her to feel dizzy.
   "Is everything alright? You have been in your room since we arrived home." Asked Pearl concerned.
   "I'm fine. I just needed some time to myself"
Garnet walked past Pearl and left the temple. Pearl followed close behind.
   "Hey, there you are! Want to go for a walk around Beach City with us?" Steven asked sweetly pointing to himself and Amethyst, when he noticed Garnet and Pearl's arrival.
   Trying hard not to hold her head from the pain Garnet agreed to go on the walk.

   "The roller coaster is working! Garnet will you ride with me?" Steven asked giving her the puppy dog eyes.
   "I can't say no to that face."
Her head was pounding intensely but she agreed to go on the ride anyway.
   When the ride finished, the fusion walked over to the garbage can and began to vomit violently. The other gems took notice immediately and ran straight to her. Garnet finished and dabbed her mouth with the napkin Pearl gave her.
   "I'm sorry Garnet. I thought it would be fun. Lots of people get sick on that one. I should have told you." Steven said sadly.
   "It's alright Steven. Maybe we should go somewhere else." Garnet said reassuringly.
   After vomiting, Garnet felt extremely weakened. She wanted to go back to the temple and stay in her room until whatever this was past. Knowing this would worry the other gems, she decided that heading to the Big Donut was better.
   Upon walking into the shop, the smells of the delicious treats made Garnet's stomach turn. Trying hard not to throw up again she stud by the open window, breathing in fresh air.
   "Three donuts and one glass of water please, Sadie." Steven said politely, smiling at Garnet.
   "Sadie! Look at this. Some woman threw up after riding the big coaster. This guy took a video of it and it's so funny." Lars laughed coming over to Sadie from the back room with his phone and ear buds.
   "Not now Lars I'm busy."
  Her head pounded even harder then it had all day and she began to retch on the floor when everything went dark.
   Lars and Sadie were arguing. Pearl was trying to stop them, while Amethyst shape shifted into different animals to entertain Steven. There was a loud odd noice coming from the window, then an even louder thud. All five of them stopped what they were doing and looked toward the window where Garnet lay on the floor unconscious.
   "GARNET!" Pearl, Amethyst and Steven cried, running up to her. Pearl shook the fusion gently to wake her.
   "I think we should head back now" said Garnet while awakening. She hated the other gems seeing her in such a vulnerable state.
   She tried to stand up but fell to her knees. Lars and Sadie were shocked.
   Pearl chimed in "Let's get her to the temple. You need to stand Garnet. We can't carry you."
With the help of the other gems Garnet stud up and they made their way back home. They rested Garnet onto the couch. She got up swaying slightly and headed to her room.
   "It's probably nothing you guys. She was probably just light headed from the coaster ride or something. It's Garnet, if something was wrong she would tell us." The purple gem spoke then took a large bite out of her sandwich. Amethyst headed to the temple door.
    "I'll check on her if you want."
   "I'll come too!" Said Steven excitedly.
   "Oh alright. Be nice to her!" Pearl replied worriedly. "Let me know what she says."
