After 5 minutes of waiting I got a text

Lisa

Hey Knight, this is Layla, she is really scared. 

Knight
Tell her there is nothing to be afraid of.
And I need your opinion, do you think she would like this room??

Lisa
She is going to love it, after all red is one of her favorite colors.

Knight
Ok, thanks see you in a bit😁

After texting Lisa I went in the living room and I played with max for the rest of the time being. About 23 minutes later I hear a knock on the door "Hey lis-your not Lisa" I say to the two kids, one I recognize as Layla and the other is a boy "Lisa dropped us off and told us you would be fine with taking care of us both" the boy says "Oh okay, here come in.Sit on the couch please" I smiled and let toke them toward the couch. Off to text Lisa

I'm so sorry it was last minute and you said I didn't need to tell you if I were to bring another kid!

Knight
It's not that it's just, you told me you were going to bring only one kid. ONE kid not TWO!!

Lisa
Ok I now know that, but can he stay with you. His name is Jase and he is 13

Knight
Yes, of course I'll keep him. See you.

I finished texting her, "Okay, hello there I am knight shadows and you guys must be Layla and Jase right?" I asked and they both nodded "LIZZY,AARON,COLE COME MEET THE KIDS" I yelled at the three to come down. 2 seconds later they come flying down the stairs "Hello" the three says in sync "hello there, I'm layla" Layla said shaking their hands "and I'm Jase" Jase said smiling, suddenly I remember something "Do you guys have your folders??" I asked a little to quickly, they both nodded and started to dig in their duffle bags then gave me a folder, one black, and one purple "thank you. Lizzy,can you take Layla to her room, and Cole can you go check on max" I said as right on cue because max started crying they all nodded and Layla followed lizzy "come on Jase, I'll take you to your room" I say with a gesture to follow me. Once we went up the stairs we went looking for a room for him, truth is since I didn't know he was coming u wasn't sure what room to give him but then I remembered I had a room that he might like so I lead him there, I opened the blue door to this room👇

"Here we are, you like music don't you??" I asked worriedly "love it actually, thank you so much" he said hugging me, oh my my heart warmed right then, I obviously hugged back "no problem kid" I chuckle with ruffling his hair, leaving him to unpack.
