''I'll drive you home.'' He offers while taking my hand leading me to his car.
''Are you sure you're sober enough.'' I held my head in my hands, as I get in the car.
He doesn't answer my question, he just starts the car.
''Tell me again where you live.'' He asks as he's adjusting his rear view mirror.
''Uh right, It's Brooke Side, on street Candle on the right, it's the apartments.''
''How ironic is that, I live there too.'' He looks at me with a smile.
''Mhmm, how cool.'' I sarcastically imply looking out the window.
The only thing on my mind was my throbbing head ache.
''Hey nick-''
''It's noah.'' He cuts me off.
''I'm sorry NOAH-'' getting irritated by the second. ''Wheres your Advil?''
''Oh sorry Maddie, I don't have any with me.'' He slouches down into his seat a little.
''Fucking great.'' I cross my arms over my chest.
''Where almost there anyways.''
He glances my way.
''What's your room number, I'll walk you up there.'' He says as we arrive to our destination.
''I can fucking walk myself.'' I get out of the cigarette smelling car and make my way to the building, hearing noah lock up his car from behind me.
''I'll walk with you.'' He looks down onto his watch. ''Just too make sure you're safe, it's pretty late anyways.''
''Whatever.'' I roll my eyes and sigh.
I pull out my keys and open up my apartment door, with noah still on my side. ''You can leave now...I made it here safe.''
''Oh shit!'' He looks at me with wide eyes.
''What'' I sigh from annoyance.
He starts to frantically pat his pant pockets and his coat pockets. ''Uh Maddie...'' He looks at me.
''Let me guess?'' I put my finger on my chin to make it look like I was thinking. ''You forgot your keys at the party and you need a place to sleep.'' I look at him with a 'not surprised look'.
''Uh yeah.'' He scratches the back of his head do to the awkwardness.
''Oh my god!'' I close my eyes trying not to freak out.
''Look'' he puts his hands up in defense, ''it's not my fault-''
''Who's fault would it fucking be then!'' I scream at him.
I burst into tears from the frustration.
''Okay okay. there there Maddie, why are you crying?'' He furrows his eyebrows as his hand is on my back slightly pushing me into the room, ''you are seriously way too tired.''
He leads me up to my room hushing me on the way. ''Maddie, stop crying''. He chuckles.
''This isn't fucking funny Noah, I'm clearly upset.'' She stomps her foot on the ground.
''No you're clearly tired.'' I say as I lay her down in her bed.
I leave her side to go find my sleeping place on the couch.
''Hey noah'' Maddie yawns making me turn my focus back to her.
''Come here''
I come back to her side of the bed. ''Yes?''
''Closer''
I lean in my head closer to hers.
''Closer'' she whines.
''Okay okay''
Our faces were very close together, she looks at my lips then to my eyes.
I close my eyes and lean in, desperately wanting a kiss, I've gotten no action at the party so this was basically my one any only chance.
I feel her hand on my face pushing me back a little. I open my eyes and furrow my eyebrows.
''Make sure you turn off the lights as you leave.'' She winks at me.
