The end of summer, that special day, where you could do whatever you want in your last hours of not doing work at the time. But that fateful day, Evan begged that he would not have to go to school, he had complained to his grandmother about how he thinks that school is a waste of time.
"Non-sense boy, your only in 7th grade, you still have much to learn like skills you'll need while taking care of yourself and getting a job." Grandmother exclaimed. Evan admitted that she was right so he did not waste any time of the last hours. The first thing he had done was go to his friends house, James's, which they had been playing baseball all day and playing video games. Evan felt like time was passing so quickly that he had realized that it was already 5:00 pm. So he asked James's mom if he could sleep over his house already. When she agreed he was going to tell his grandmother. Beep Beep Beep, the phone was ringing and once she picked up Evan could hear nothing but coughs or as if someone was vomiting.
"GRANDMA! ARE YOU OK?!" Evan yelled into the phone. The grandmother had finally came to a stop and sarcastically said yes but Evan knew she was lying. He told that he was going to spend the night at James's house and said his mother is going to drop him off to school, and she had agreed. It was that time, the time to go to sleep for morning the next day. He slammed himself into the bed with his face in the pillow. There was such wishful thinking in his head that there would be no school. Evan started gazing and went to sleep. The next day Evan sighed so LOUD that their next door neighbor could hear.
"JEEZ! When did you fall asleep?" James yelled. "Your super grumpy."
"CUZ there is school today so that's why i'm annoyed." Evan screamed in James's ear, "DUH!" James had a really confused face •~•. James explained that school was tommorow. Now Evan was in shock, he thought about if he were in this day already.
"WHOA! NO WAY, I'M FROM THE PAST! I'M A TIME TRAVELER!" Evan said in amazment. He explained to James that he had already lived this day yesterday.
"Second end of summer." James proclaimed, "Sweet!" They were both thinking what to do. They came up with baseball, bicycling, or watching the movies. But the Evan was thinking to the extreme. He thought of driving a car, helping people by donating, or setting up a lemonade stand. But they both thought ... driving a car while they nodded their heads. They asked James's mom if he could borrow the keys. He had to lie about how he forgot something in the car and then they started driving it very unprepared and uncontrollably. They were driving it in donuts and then BAM! Next thing right after, glass shattered and a white airbag flew out of the front and covered his face then the sight of Evan turned black and he felt numb on his back and felt he was being lifted in the air. He felt like he was in a really dark room then suddenly found himself comfortably in bed. He was shocked and asked if it was the end of summer and James said "Of Course"
