Whats Happening?

Lucy's P.O.V.
It's been a week since the "incident" and I've been talking to Natsu more recently. We've been learning a lot about each other, and even my boss thinks my work is spot on. We're meeting up later today because Natsu had something important to tell me, so I brought my notepad just in case it's anything "juicy".

When I arrived at the cafe we planned to meet up at, Natsu waved me over with a wide smile.

"What are you so happy about?" I asked while sitting across from him. "Nothing... just the fact that your here now is all."

We ordered our drinks, and of course I got something cold. While Natsu got a hot drink.

"So, what's so important?" I ask while sipping on my drink. "I um... wanted to let you know that I feel something special between us." He said with an embarrassed face on. "W-what?! I um dunno' how to respond... I g-guess I feel the same way?" I said flustered.

He smiled and laughed while he sipped on his coffee. "Well that's great! So..." he said while leaning in. "...can I call you my girlfriend now?" He said with a serious face on. I looked away unable to  look at him with his gaze on me. "I-I guess."

Once I said that he led me out of the cafe and onto a walking trail. The birds chirping and grass swaying from the cool breeze. I noticed Natsu trying to grab my hand, so I quickly grabbed his. He blushed and looked away as I giggled. "You can be so cute at times, you know that?" I said with a cheeky grin. "Yeah whatever." Is all he said before embracing me suddenly. I turning red like a cherry tomato and looked down. "Look who's cute know?" He said before grabbing my chin and bringing it up to his face. "Do I have permission to kiss you?" He said, but before I could answer, he covered my lips with his own.

I quickly buried my face in his chest to hide my embarrassment. "Aw look at you, little cutie." He said as he rested his head on my own.

Later
I woke up in what appeared to be... Natsu's room? "Natsu..." I said as he grumbled. "What." "W-what happened." I said. "Nothing much just sleeping... now shush." Is all he said before falling back asleep. 'Whew... I don't know what i would have done if we... I'm not even going to think about it.' I thought as I walked at the room to get a glass of water.

"I can't believe I'm with Natsu now... where did the time go..." I said to no one. "It went all into spending with me." I heard behind me as Natsu grabbed my waist close to him. "You smell sweet Lucy." He said as I blushed.

"Thanks?" "No problem."
