Chapter 1: Transmigration

Mu chinchou was currently in a mission with her partner Li Qinhe,  they were tasked by the organization to assassinate a wealthy merchant and to abdicate its family.

She sneaked into an alleyway since Qinhe told her to meet him here,  which she happily obliged,  she like him since they we're young he saved her from a human trafficker and cultivate her to become an infamous assassin.

They both decided that after this mission,  they will leave the organization and start a family,  she always dream to have a carefree and simple life,  but It was obstructed by the organization.

It was a clear moonlit night, and the stars were twinkling. She look up and watch the stars as it gives her a sense of warmth,  she may be a heartless assassin when doing her mission,  but still, she didn't lose her heart in the process.

She was ecstatic when she felt his presence,  and ready to throw her arms on him,  but what halt her on her step is the pain that erupt in her lower abdomen. She was confused,  tears rolling down on her cheeks,  what happened? She looked up to the man that she loved with a tear stricken face,

"Why?" she asked in disbelief she was clearly disappointed on him,  she thought he was  different from others. But she was proven wrong.

"You dare abandon the Organization that cultivate you,  sadly the council wont let you live after leaving,  those who dare to leave must die,  with their life in tow."
She was in pain,  but what hurt her the most is the fact that the man she love who saved her life,  ended up  killing her.
How ironic fate was,  she's clearly doomed to live a life worse than death. How Unfeeling the Jade Emperor was to let her have this tragic ending.

"I Muchinchou swore that,  If I were to be reincarnated and live a new life I will treasure those people that I loved more than my life,  and wont let tragedy befall on myfamily,  I will seek vengeance and love that I lacked in this lifetime."
With her life force fading she mustered to stand up and embedded her knife on his heart,  ending his life,  a man like this don't deserve her love.

Torrents of rain pours down like a heavy load on the body a young girl in the middle of the forest,  when a lightning stroke down and hit the body.
Amidst a pile of dried leaves and twigs , Mu chingchou struggled to raise her body to a seated position. Her consciousness is still a little shaky, but after a short period she was finally fully lucid. Upon opening her eyes, she is startled by the sight of a forest and a small stream of river.

“Well shit!” She blinked her eyes and moved a sword that was on her leg. She took in her surroundings and contemplated, “Did I really die or not?”

She clearly remembered being killed by her beloved where survival was not possible. As a top notch Assassin in the 21st century, she was able to maintain her consciousness at the moment of her death. She was certain that she had died.

Without a doubt, she had died. She had died then reincarnated.

Which means her oath was heard by the upper ups,  finally deciding to give her a new life as a compensation of her tragic fate.

she stood up and stretched her arms and legs. In the next moment, a stream of memories flooded her mind. Her name was Mu chingchou, age 14, and daughter of the main wife of the Left general estate.

"Holy crap!” She saw the entirety of the former life as though it were a movie. Mu chingchou then had a realization. “I’ve been transmigrated!”

Mu chingchou was arrorant and naughty always openly declare her superiority to those people at her side,  she was quite domineering with a haughty nature.No one would thought that this Noble young lady would tragically end up being killed by her Childhood friend Li Xuren daughter of a wealthy merchant without a noble background. Mu chingchou was pushed in a raging river and died witjout justice. Her body left in the forest waiting to be discovered.

"Don’t worry!” She dusted her hands and soothingly said, “Your misery and suffering, I have understood it all. Since this body accepted a new soul, I will not let that bitch that killed you live happily. I will properly sort out these debts with that Li Xuren"

Different era, different age , different world, different appearance, the only similarity was the name.

Suddenly, a soft sigh came through her mind. A girl’s voice floated to the surface of her mind and said one phrase, “Thank you.” Her mind shook slightly as something seemed to slowly drift away.

The corner of her lips arc into a beautiful and seductive smile.. It seems like the previous owner of this body was very unwilling to die. Only after hearing her promise, was she willing to depart. However, for such a friend to exist… hating her is normal.

She had always been one to keep her promises. Since she had taken over this body, revenge was naturally a  must Mu chingchou adjusted her dress made with materials of great quality then dusted it off.

She decided to return to their manor not to expose that white lotus bitch, but to see her family that dotingly loves her so much,  she want to experienced the feeling of having a family to rely on in this new lifetime.
