"Lauren?" Grandpa J asked.
Claudia nodded. Everyone at the table looked at her, waiting for her to speak.
Cold sweats started to form on Lauren's forehead.
Is she going to tell about me and Camila?
"She's doing a great job at the company." Claudia said.
Lauren looked at her, confused.
"So great that I think it's time that we promote her position." Claudia continued.
Huh?
"Really?" Lauren's dad, Michael was pleasantly surprised.
"Yes, our magazine had increased in number of sales since she joined us."
"I'm so proud of you dear." Lauren's mom, Clara said.
Lauren smiled awkwardly, she didn't expect this.
"I think it's time for us to trust her with something bigger." Claudia added.
Albert Jauregui nodded, "I agree."
He paused.
"I have great news for you Lauren."
Lauren stared at him, puzzled.
"You're going to France."
What?!
Claudia smiled.

"What are you going to do now?" Taylor asked.
Lauren has been walking back and forth in her room for a few minutes.
"Can you stop moving, you're making me dizzy."
Lauren stopped.
"Tay..what am I going to do now?" she asked.
"That's what I've asking you for the past half an hour." Taylor shrugged.
Lauren sat on her bed.
"I can't leave. I can't leave Camila."
Taylor looked at her messed up sister.
"Then don't leave her."
"I can't go against grandpa's order. You know that." Lauren said.
"Plus, I have no excuse not to go. Claudia made me look like a perfect granddaughter." she added, sighing.
"Auntie obviously wants to separate you and PillowCamila."
Lauren nodded, weak. "I'm lucky enough she didn't tell them about me and Camila."
Taylor shook her head, "They have to know sooner or later. You can't keep it as a secret forever."
"Yes, but not now." Lauren said.
"They will do anything to make me leave Camila."
Taylor shrugged, "Then take her with you."
Lauren paused.
Take her with me?
**
"Miss Jauregui, you're really early today." asked a maid as she saw Lauren walked down the stairs.
"I have a promise that I have yet to fulfil." she replied, smiling.
**
"Miss, we're not opened yet."
Lauren is standing in front of the arcade that she and Camila went yesterday.
"I need to get inside."
