"Shella you must take her and go now" Rachel tells her best friend.

"I can't abandoned her Rachel" Shella states licking her daughters head fondly.

"You'd rather the alpha kill her and when he finds out the truth?" Rachel asks. "You still have the other two Shella" she assures her friends. "They will grow up to be strong males and one maybe alpha one day" she adds. "But to protect your daughter, you must take her away" she tells her.

"Where would I take her? We are all she knows, she'll die on her own" Shella whimpers holding her daughter close.

"Take her to Saw-tooth forest, the spirit there will protect her and who knows. Maybe one the laws will change and she can rejoin the pack" Rachel says being optimistic. "Besides she is a strong pup aside from her eyes" she states.

"You're right, I must leave now though" Shella says standing up slowly. "Before they return from teaching the teens to hunt. Can you look after my sons for me?" she asks.

"Of course, go now and safe journey" Rachel says nuzzling her best friends. Shella picks up her daughter and carries her away from the den. Away from their packs territory to the forest all wolves feared. Because of the wolf spirit that lived there, it only never harmed pups.

Saw-tooth forest

"Who dares enter my forest?" the spirit asks growling at the two intruders. (Picture of the wolf spirit: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/LkKFsyQHeU8/maxresdefault.jpg). Shella places her daughter down and stands over her protectively.

"My name is Shella and I am of the Grey Moon pack to the west. I ask that you protect my daughter Beatrice from all who would do her harm. She is blind and would be killed if she were to stay in the pack. Please protect her so that she can grow into an adult" Shella begs.

"Allow me to see the pup" the spirit states appearing as a grey wolf. With claw like scars on both his cheeks. Shella nudged Beatrice forward a little into the moon light. The spirit looks at the pup before looking up at the moon. "She has a bright future ahead, I will raise her on the condition no one of your pack ever enters this forest. Those who do so shall be killed and if you come to try reclaim her. I will kill her, for she is apart of this forest until she finds a mate" the spirit explains.

"But who would accept her as a mate? It is against wolf law for her to be even alive" Shella whimpers.

"Trust in me, she will have a mate in future" the spirit states. "But if she has now found one by her fourth birthday. She will become my mate and a spirit" he explains.

"Either way she'll have a mate, but with me she won't have her own pups" he adds.

"I thank you for your help, but I must return to my other pups. May I say goodbye?" Shella asks and the spirit bows his head stepping away from the pup. "Know that I love you my darling daughter, be strong Beatrice. I promise we'll meet again one day or at least you'll meet your brothers. Good luck in your bright future" Shella says crying as she held Beatrice close. Before letting go and running away.

"Yip yip!" Beatrice barks trying to follow her mother only to fall over a rock. But the spirit caught her using the wind. Beatrice lays on the forest fall crying and whimpering.

"Your mother can not be with you any more" the spirit tells her. Then summons his friend the owl and has er carry the pup to his old den. From when he was alive. The forest animals all came to greet their new princess bringing gifts. They see the spirit as their lord and protector. Now they will repay the favor by helping to protect and raise this pup.

Grey Moon Pack

"Where is she?" the alpha growls when he sees Shella return. Rachel was with her teen pups and Shella's two remaining pups.

"Somewhere safe from you and this pack" Shella states.

"You dear disrespect me by allowing that useless pup to leave" the alpha snarls. Shella whimpers crouching down showing him her neck. "This will remind you to never disobey me again" he states swiping his claws across her muzzle. "Now return to your duties" he orders. Shella starts to head over to her sons when the alpha says "if we ever find that pup, she will be killed on sight".
