Chapter One:

After that fateful day my favourite chocolate bar was taken away from me, I moved on from my life.

Haha! Kidding. I wasn’t. I have to search that freaking boy who stole it.

Oh, the things he should do for me.

I know what you’re thinking! Not that! Ew! Gross guys!

 You perverted little chipmunks…

“Rain! Let’s go to the canteen! I want to buy my cheese burger!” Nina whined at me.

We were currently sitting in the library.  I’m stuck with a book in me while Nina just tag along with me.

“Then go. I’m not your mother that you should ask permission for.” I replied back and drifted to my book, ready to indulge in my fantasy world that wouldn’t happen in real life.

Nina puff and stomp her foot childishly.

I glanced a second at her, “Mature ninskie. Real mature.” I muttered and glance down again on my book.

“Come on! Come with me! I heard there’s a new student coming into our school, maybe we could bump into him. Oh! There’s definitely three of them actually who transferred here. Rumours says, they came from a private school.” Nina babbled on and I didn’t really paid attention as to my attention clearly was to the book.

“Wait, Are you even listening to me?!” Nina screeched loudly in front of me and I wince from how loud her voice was.

“I am. You were saying about two students transferring into our school and… they have a private… life?” I trailed of unsure to what I’m going to say.

 Nina scoff and I frowned.

'What?” I questioned

She leaned over the table to me and began stating…

“Firstly, they’re actually three students transferring here and they came from a private school, not private life Rain.” She said and slowly stand up straighter and started walking to exit the library.

“See you later rainee dear!” she called out that earned her a glare from our librarian.

I rolled my eyes at the nickname she called for me.

I sighed and began reading my book. I glanced around the library and I did a double take to the person right behind me. Seating a few tables, is the man who stole my chocolate bar.

Shocked clearly displayed on my face and then turned into a scowl.

That freaking boy! Or man. But whatever! He has to pay for my chocolate bar!

With that in mind, I straightened myself and took deep breath. I slowly stand up and make my way towards him. He had a chair in front across from him and I sat down, elegantly might I add.

 So he’s new here huh.

I took a deep breath and cleared my throat, unladylike to be specific.

“Welcome to New Ya High school!” I cheerfully exclaimed and that made our librarian snapped her head towards me and gave me the hardest glare she could give.

I scoff. If that would totally make me scared and then run away.

Now, you might be wondering what a weird name our school is but that’s basically what our school name is. Weird but unique, don’t you think?

Well, back at hand. He just stared at me while I’m perfectly faking my smile.

Oh, how I wanted to strangle his hair for stealing my chocolate bar. He would be sorry to  his perfectly styled I-just-got-out-of-bed-look deserved to be in a  magazine photo shoot.

Not that I care what his hair should be.

 Focus rain!

“Umm thanks, but do I know you?” He replied but his voice is different. It’s not that kind of deep like the boy/man who stole my chocolate bar but nonetheless it had a kind of gentleness from it.

I felt annoyed he didn’t even recognize me.

 Stupid boy!

Faking a smile again, “You clearly don’t recognize me don’t you? Hmmm… I’ll give you a hint then. The girl you stole a chocolate from? Ring a bell?” I said and I erase the fake smile I plastered on my face and put on a scowl of my own.

Everyone of us had different style  of scowls so yeah…

After how many seconds of silence he burst out laughing.

He was actually laughing and I was just like sitting there with a blank look. I mean what’s so funny to what I said?

“Umm care to explain the joke in your head?” I said after he stopped laughing hysterically but left with a few chuckles.

Huh, I’m so happy he finds me his own  entertainment. How amazing. Not.

“You’re the girl he stole a chocolate from?! You’re hot I must admit.” He replied.

My cheeks warm up to what he said. He finds me hot. *cue blush*

Rain! Don’t effing blush! You know what your face looks like when you blush. You freaking turn into a tomato! Do you know that?”

Well, I clearly know that my twin self.  Geez, I’m trying here.

“Geez, is that a compliment?” I replied nonchalantly.

He chuckled, “Yes, it’s a compliment and you’re welcome.” He said and then winked at me.

 How dare he?!

“Well back to the business buddy, what do you mean ‘he’? I thought it’s you.” I asked and raise my one eyebrow at him.

He chuckled again, “Did you heard about the new students transferring in your school, well, our school?” he asked and I replied with a nod.

“Well, I was one of them and the two is my brother and my best friend.”

“Speaking of which, they’re here. Right behind you babe.”

I ignored the name he called me and followed his gaze that’s behind me.

When I turned around, the one I was looking for, is walking towards us with a faint smile on his lips.

How attractive but he has to pay for my chocolate bar he stole.
