Chapter 3 : Redemption for The Assassin

After a turn of events that happened during Titan, the two of them were having trouble to knowing about this planet.

"Hey it's okay, we can try and get used to this world" He reassured her with hope. Gamora suddenly punches him with rage "Don't you get it?!, I told not to interfere, Do you have any idea how powerful he really is?, I was made to take his orders, I looked up to him, I trusted him but instead you've lead me to my fate!, I need to get back up there!".

It suddenly started to rain, Quill says annoyed 

"Or what and let you get killed by your own father?, Look I get it you know, Your confused....you don't know why you are fighting and you don't know your purpose, You don't have to be alone, I can help you, if we are going to fight we are going to fight together but the only way we are going to get through this is by well.....getting a better understanding with each other" They decide to look for shelter in a abandoned cave while lighting a fire in the middle of the ground.

Star-lord suddenly feels bad and decides to confess something "You know...I was only trying to save you back there....Ugh how am I going to explain this to Yondu?, Every since I lost my mother, I feel bad for everything...I feel like I failed her, If only I was there for her, but I was  too scared......" Quill Said Sadly.  "I didn't want to be abducted from my home, It feels like The Ravengers don't even care, I miss my family, and I thought, Everything I ever did and followed I did for her...and now she's gone, My mother told me that sometimes when people are mad, scared or stressed, I should try and help them".

Gamora looks down at herself feeling a slight guilt upon her as he noticed him slightly shed a tear, He suddenly pulls out a mix tape titled "Awesome Mix Vol 1" watching him placing headphones on to listen to his music as a sign of him remembering memories back on Earth. She finally decides to speak to him to get a few things off her chest "I'm....Sorry for your loss Quill, I know how that feels when you loose someone you care about and feel like...it's your fault, at least you have something to remember her by, When I lost my mother I felt like...I lost everything and the only thing I could feel is pain and vengeance.....Quill....thank you" She says beginning to regain his trust.

Quill accepted her apology, they sit next to the fire as they take moment of silence thinking about the fusion they performed accidentally. They both look at each other for a while to discuss what happened "I've heard of fusion before but...I never knew what it felt like...I've never realized that fusion would disappear like that" She wondered "I'm not sure if it is like that...This is also my first experience, Yondu told me that it would be impossible for me to do all of that...When I saw heroes or anyone fuse it was mainly for deadly situations during missions" Peter mentioned "Well when we fused, I felt what it was like to be you Confident and complete, I've never felt this much faith and support in my life I felt like I didn't have to do this alone, maybe we could give it another chance?" He stood up and put his hand out to her, Gamora blushes slightly "Well...I guess I could give it a chance" Quill chuckles with a pleasuring smile as she decides to take his hand.

Star-Lord and Gamora later leave the cave, as the sun rises and its no longer raining. A montage is shown with Star-Lord and Gamora encountering the wildlife on the planet. In another instance they watch the scenery of the galaxy together and afterwards they are at a dark forest as it was quiet and peaceful, a swarm of fireflies light up the scene, Quill takes her hand to share a dance with her, As they danced together they started feeling more closer and once they ended the dance, they fused into Starmora once more.
