Dirty Dancing 3

"...But I knew this wasn't our last dance"...

Katey Miller's POV

... 'And finally there it was, my first year as a freshman was finally over !

It was a horrible year.

 At least i got some money working at those weird bars, the music was perfect, it reminded me... Well it reminded me of myself even though I don't dance anymore, nothing feels as good as dancing to some good music.' I thought smiling, but that smile faded away quickly as I started thinking about Javier, I loved him so much ! And the worst thing was that we couldn't even see each other, I dreamt of him every single day, every single hour.

"Katey seriously are you still in your pj's ? Jesus christ girl you'r so slow really you have to hurry up, we can't be late to the end of the year party!" Said my impatient roommate Sammy.

"I was just thinking, maybe I.." I was talking when Sammy interrupted me.

"You think to much! Come on just go dress up you lazy " She said in a joking voice.

"Okay fine, I'm going I'm going" I said not so excited, but the excitement started growing when I thought about Summer !

"wait... Oh my gosh Oh my gosh we are going on summer vacation !" I screamed of happiness as I looked at my well dressed roommate.

"Ohh, Don't tell me." she answered smirking. "

"Well what are you still doing there? you have to prepair yourself" she continued looking at my messy morning look.

As she looked at me I couldn't keep my excitement inside me so I jumped into her arms and hugged her as tightly as I could and we just laughed for 5 minutes straight.

After that I finally went to dress up. I put on one of my favorite dresses and some high heels. Before leaving I only put on some lipstick, mascara and perfume and  I was ready to go.

When I got to the party there were all my classmates, teachers and even some parents but there were also a couple of total strangers.

"Who are those people Sammy? I never saw them around here." I asked her curious knowing that Sammy knew almost the hole world.

"Wait you don't know them?" She asked quite shocked.

"no..." I answered ashamed.

"Oh my gosh Katey they are are Ricardo and Adriana ! They were students here, the best ones, They were from Cuba so they were discriminated that's why they worked so hard to be the best, but when they got out of college instead of following a good profession they followed dance and the teachers were really disappointed until one day they became known world-wide and famous."

"Wow that's just amazing !" I said smiling. After all I was in the same place as professional dancers.

"what were their names again ?" I aked after a moment of silence.

"Ricardo and Adriana" She repeated.

as she repeated their names all my thoughts went back to Javier, 'I knew I've heard those names before and as I thought harder I knew that he had talked about them before. He said they were unbeliveble and that he wanted us to be just like them one day. He said that they were his idols after his dad and that since he was little he's dad talked about them and how their dance was so beautiful, and even how smart they were.'

"Javier, would be so happy to be here right now... Oh, how I miss him" I thought to myself at least I believed I had thought to myself, but soon I realized I haven't because Sammy answered confused.

"What are you talking about ? who's Javier ?"

"Oh nothing I said nothing" I replied blushing.

"Anyways, they are picking 3 of the best students today to go with them to Cuba on vacation for the whole summer" She said hopefulness.

"OH MY GOSH, seriously ??? that's amazing" I screamed with all my enthusiasm knowing that I'm one of the best students of my course.

"But Sammy, Why are you with so much hope, I don't want to be harsh but you know that you're not really that good..." I went on but this time more serious.

"That's the thing you know ! We all know that you are one of the best students and all of the three students get to bring one friend with them" She said doing her best smile and doing the butterfly eyes. She knew I couldn't say no to those eyes.
