The chosen one

Katey Miller's POV

"All right students , as you all know only the 3 best students get to go to cuba and i guess its time to reveal the chosen ones " said the school principal as ricardo and adriana stepped foward with the list of the 'winners'. My heart was beating so fast it felt like it was gonna jump right of my chest, i needed to be chosen, it was the only way i could be with javier again.

Finally Adriana started talking about their jorney and basically making a speech about how you can be wathever you want as long as you keep dreaming... It was actually really inspirational even though i wasn't paying many attention because all i was thinking about was how much I wanted to be picked !

"... Enough of that, i know you all must be super excited to know who's going to Cuba so we're just gonna go ahead and announce the 3 lucky ones" said Adriana smiling and passing the word to ricardo.
"Well the first name I'm going to call is ..... Peter Anderson"
"The second one is.... Veronica Smith, congratulations girl!!" Continued Adriana.

'I was so nervous i only felt butterflies in my stomach. They already said two names and mine wasn't mentioned!! What if I wasn't going to get picked...' I thought when ricardo interrupted my thoughts.
"And finally the last one is.... Bet..."As ricardo started spelling the last name i noticed it wasn't mine !! I almost started crying ,when unexpectedly the principal went on the stage and whispered something in ricardo's ears.
"Oh im sorry there was a change on the list and I'm happy to say that the last name I'm going to call is ... Katey Miller !!" Said ricardo with a smile on his face.

As soon as he started spelling my name the first thing i could see was Sammy looking at me and screaming "WE'RE GOING TO CUBA, WE'RE GOING TO CUBA!!!" I could hear the excitement in her voice, but no one was as excited as I was, i just couldn't believe in what was happening! I was going to cuba ! I was going to be with javier! And this time nothing could tear us apart!!!

One week later

Sammy's POV
" finally this moment came!!! We're gonna meet a lot of hotties and get you laid !! and we'll have the best time ever" i said joking with Katey
"Ha Ha Ha" answered Katey while packing
"Honey you find hotties for yourself, I already have one" she continued winking at me. I knew she had some secrets about cuba, one including a boy, but she never talked about it, so i couldn't resist but ask her ..

"Dear Katey , my friend about that friend of yours , javier I think.. Why don't you ever talk about him , what happened??"
"Let's just say we had to go on separate ways..." She answered faking a smile. I could see that subject bothered her so i just changed it
"Im sorry... Anyways are you all packed up because we're leaving in about 15 minutes "
"Almost there ... Wait WHAT 15 minutes ??" Answered Katey freaking out.

After we were ready we went all to the entrance of the school and waited for ricardo and adriana
