"Arthur was your average student who got bullied, constantly. He had scars; on his arms and thighs. He didn't trust anyone and was always alone. He was the kid who always wore long sleeves that belonged to baggy hoodies and sweaters. He always sat in the back of every single class and silently drew. Though, he never paid attention in class; he always got a 100% on every single test we had."

Alfred sighed, remembering his friend. He said everything with a slight smile that soon dropped when he continued to speak.

"But one day.. One day I saw him in the bathroom, after a test we had, crying his poor and broken heart out while cutting his wrists with seemingly really sharp scissors. He didn't notice me at all, so he continued cutting himself. But.. he was smiling... the whole time! It seemed as if he was happy to loose so much blood; which brought me back from my thoughts, making me rush to the short British boy who was suddenly starting to fall, but thankfully I caught him in my arms and ran out of school and to the nearest hospital, holding him against me the entire time, not caring that I got blood over my clothing and that my arms hurt like hell. But thankfully, I soon reached the hospital and yelled that my friend needed help. I still remember the blood that fell from his arms and onto the floor when they carried him away from me and to a free room in the hospital."

Alfred took a shaky breath and ran his hand through his honey coloured hair; before continuing to speak. He had to say everything to his school that currently listened to him while he stood on the stage in the gym, telling everything to them with the help of a microphone that was being held in his right hand.

"After a few hours, they told me I could go to his room. I saw him in a hospital gown. He was calm and asleep. I could also see every single scar on his arms; both the fresh and old ones. He was attached to quite a few tubes that led to machines; as if he was a marionette or a puppet. He looked sickeningly pale. I noticed a piece of paper peeking out of his jeans' pocket that rested on a chair beside him. I took the piece of paper and read it. It had part of the lyrics of Ruth B's Lost Boy written on it. It said:

"'Run, run, Lost Boy!'
They say to me.
Away from all of reality..
Neverland is home
to lost boys like me;
and lost boys like me
are free."

Alfred stopped for a second and took another shaky breath, before looking at everyone from his school who was silently hiding their tears and sobbing.

"That is when..

               it stopped."
