December 7, 2016

"Hey Spence, whatcha up to" i said to my bestest friend in the entire world.

"Well i just bought our birthday presents/ Christmas presents."

You see we are not twins but the greatest of friends, the Pianist and the Cellist. Where was I going with this, ah right. We have the same birthday which by the way is December 31, but he is older by a whole 1 and a half minute. Our moms are best friends so they decided to try and get pregnant at the same time and, well, it worked, obviously.

"Oh, yeah what is it?" i asked. My curiosity getting the better of me.

"Well you will just have to wait and see."

"Spencer, no you cant just say you bought my present and not tell me what it is" i stated sternly.

"Well, its a trip, to a place, where the best people are."

"What do you mean, the library is just down the street that isnt much of a trip" im confused.

"You know there are better people in the world than Mrs. Berttly" she is the librarian.

"Ok whatever you say,"

I start to leave my room to go downstairs and grab a movie for us to watch.

"Oh Abbers," he uses that nickname I hate cause he knows itll get my attention.

"Yes?"

"Ill be packing your suit case, I have the airplane tickets and it will be for an entire 4 days"

"Wow an entire four days," i can taste the sarcasm.

"Ha Ha, very funny."

"Well i know i'm funny no matter what you think" that'll show him.

"Yeah we have a four day weekend coming up, I checked with both our parents and they were cool with it seeing that we are both trust worthy Juniors." we both giggle knowing they shouldn't have trusted us. "Both our parents gave us some money for souvenirs knowing hat will indefinitely be getting lots of those, they are also for things that are everywhere there and for food, because food is my bae."

"And mine with Dylan Obrien, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, and my bed. You can never forget your bed."

I grabbed a movie, If I Stay.

"I know your a cellist and all, but do we really" I stopped him there.

"Let me stop you there." so original, "this movie is better than the one you picked last time"

"Twilight isn't a bad movie," he said trying but failing to defend his movie choice.

"You're totally right, but its like a train wreck you want to look away but its so terrible that our cant. Like seriously they knew each other for like what an entire 24 hours before they fell in love with each other. That's a bit extreme don't you say."

"Ok fine" he gave in.

Ha what a loser, i know my facts don't question me, because when I think a movie is bad there have to be reasons.

We closed the blinds made some popcorn and started the movie.

A little bit into the movie I just couldn't stop thinking what he was planning on doing for our birthday.

I hit pause and sat up and wrapped my blanket around myself.

"You have to tell me. Tell me tell me tell me!!!!!!"

"Nope. You will not get to me that easily"

Darn, that usually works.

What a great way to spend a snow day. Other than not knowing the birthday presents.

It was the first snow fall of the year, and here in New Hampshire, its always a snow day and a wonderful time to spend a couple hours with my greatest friend, Spencer.

We live in an apartment building together there are 2 apartments on the same floor and he was across the hall so we were always together and I mean every waking moment and sometimes sleeping moments, no he is not gay, yes we have sleepovers get over it. His parents fight a lot so he comes and has a sleepover with me he acts all tough and all but I know he hats it and I always try to cheer him up because I know what its like to lose a parent. My father, my hero, died of a drunk driver crashing into him about a year ago, and he comforted me through my hard time so ill comfort him through his.

The Twin Pines Apartment complex, our fairytale, sort of.
