Chapter 4
Nicole's P.O.V
Ari came home around 5:15 i always stayed with her when coming to stay in Manchester and in a few weeks time i was going to move in With her permanently . when I told her about my 'date' I guess you could call it. with Matty she just stared at me for a while until finally jumping up and down clapping her hands screaming. She really was strange.
-"OMG I can't believe it like ahhhh!!"
-"calm down were just friends"
I mean that's all we could possibly be right? Obviously he wouldn't want it to be any different not with me anyway.
-"yeah friends. Come on its obvious he likes you you're just too naive to accept it"
-"that is not true and me and him wouldn't work I mean have you seen him he's talented and cute then there's me some strange species of troll."
I was starting to think maybe he did like me more than friends but I couldn't think why.
-"ugh Nicole trust me he likes you now come on let's get you ready for this date!"
-"fine"
After pulling out the entirety of Ari's wardrobe I finally settled on a black skaters dress and some black tights and of course my trusty converse. Ari did my hair into a side fishtail plait and put on some light makeup so I at least looked half decent. Wow I could feel the nerves inside of me as the time edged closer to 7. I was even more nervous than when me and Ari met Ralph Pelleymounter from To Kill A King and hugged him (a/n that actually happened yes I hugged Ralph like I can't even anyway back to the story) and that was pretty nerve wrecking.
I was interrupted from my thoughts when there was a knock at the door. I breathed in slowly and got up to answer it. Matty was stood leaning against the door frame wearing black skinnies a white shirt and his dock martens. Wow. He looked good as always.
-"you look nice. Ready to go?"
He asked smirking at me. I nodded and turned to wave bye to Ari she returned the wave and smiled at me reassuringly. We got into Matty's car and started driving.

The car journey was spent in a comfortable silence. We pulled up outside a resteraunt about 15 minutes away from my block of flats. It was nice. Big but it had a cosy feel to it. We walked through the doors and sat at a table near the window. I sat there looking at the world passing by when the waitress came over with menus. I looked at it a while before deciding what I wanted. We ordered and sat waiting. Well he didn't speak much did he.
-"sooo."
I said breaking the silence. Seeing as though we just sat there staring at eachother for about 5 minutes and it was getting rather awkward.
-"uhm soo what should we talk about?"
He was chuckling a little at our awkwardness and I couldn't help but join him. After talking a bit about eachother and life in general and discovering how much we ha in common our food arrived. We finished and Matty insisted on paying we went back to his car.
-"so you and Ari. How did you two meet?"
-"funny story actually well we went to the same nursery and she stole a book off me so I slapped her and that's how we became friends." (A/n That is actually how me and Ari became friends aha I'm kind)
-"aha I can't imagine how she wanted to be your friend after you slapped her" he was grinning trying not to laugh until we both just started laughing uncontrollably (sp?). We pulled up outside my block of flats and said our goodbyes. I walked up to the elevator and smiled to myself. Tonight went quite well.
As soon as I unlocked the door Ari was there bombarding me with questions after giving her every last detail I decided to get some Rest because I had work the next morning. I said night to Ari and fell straight to sleep thinking about tonight's events.

Matty's P.O.V
Well tonight went well as planned. It turns out me and Nicole have a lot in common like music taste tv programmes and she's a fan of the band which helps. I really like her but at the moment I'm unsure of in what way. I mean we could only be friends because I get the feeling she doesn't want anything more or maybe I'm just over reacting. I decided to go to sleep when I got in because I had to go to the studio to practice early in the morning. Maybe Nicole could come with us. If she's not busy. The guys have been wanting to meet her and I'm sure she'll be just as excited.
