The Fault In Our Stars (The next part in their sick love story.)

Chapter 5

I walk quickly into the hospital doors. I don't bother to check in at the front desk, I just keep walking. I make it to Gus's room, the door is open but the room is dark. The blinds closed and no machines on. I creep in, careful to mind were I step. I see him laying on his bed fast asleep. Picking up Phillip I tip-toe to the empty guest bed next to his, and lay down. 

"Hazel Grace Waters, and little Waters." My head shoots up and my eyes lock with his gorgeous blue eyes. 

"Hi, did I wake you?" I grab his hand like I always do when I visit. 

"Yes, but that's okay. Listen I wanted to talk to you about this wedding." He looks sad, "I don't think I can do it." And just like that everything starts to spin. I drop his hand and grab my head. Augustus is still talking but I can't hear him over the ringing in my ears. Then just like that everything is black. I can no longer hear nor see Gus. Everything is still. 

"Hazel, sweetie, please wake up." Mom? What is happening? Then I hear it, the distant sound of monitors beeping. No, oh my god, no. 

I try to open my eyes but I can't. They feel like they are glued shut. 

"Hazel Grace, please." Gus. He is here? I feel him grab my hand. I squeeze it and open my eyes. 

"Oh thank god." He says. He is sitting in a wheelchair with a blanket around his legs. 

I smile then look down, I'm in my wedding dress. "Mom, what happened?" 

"You passed out, I don't know what happened. The Doctor said it's the baby but I just don't know." I sigh laying my head back. The wedding! 

"What time is it?!" I ask. "1:47" My mother replies. 

4 more hours, come on Hazel, you can make it for 4 more hours. Right?
