I hid behind the nearest tree. I turned towards the house that was once mine. The little girl was still there just staring at the ground. I could see her tears fall down slowly from her face and hit the soft green grass. I don’t want to see them. I don’t want to see my sisters’ teary eyes. Finally she ran towards the house that was once mine. The door slammed so hard that it could probably be heard a mile away as she cried. Her crying made me feel sad for just lying to her and even guilty for doing it as well. I want to cry, but a vampire who cries would be the most disgraceful vampire in all the vampire history. As I turned looking at the ground away from my once was little sister crying inside the house that I used to live in I saw Steffen, I just couldn’t take it not one bit. All those awful things I told him. It hurts a lot inside my chest. It’s like I didn’t chew something correctly and when I swallowed, it gave me the worst hart burn ever. Once Steffen, and I met each-other’s eyes. I saw it. The hate in his eyes was too much. That is all I needed for a final blow to make me burst into tears on my knees. I was really crying and it hurts so much. I’m the worst vampire ever. The next thing I knew. I was crying on Steffen, who was holding me tight. I can’t tell how long I cried, but all I know is that my hart still hurts like hell. I told Steffen that I was so sorry so many times that I lost track of what I was even saying. When I was done sobbing I couldn’t remember when we had started walking. All I knew was that I was going far away from the place that I used to call home.
It was silent the whole walk. There was only the sound of bird singing. Its soft tune makes me think like there was nothing wrong now. I kept walking while occasionally looking at Steffen. I do really wonder what he’s thinking.
Suddenly he stopped out of nowhere he just stopped. Then he was running towards a bush, then behind a tree. Now he was in the trees, jumping from tree top to tree top. This guy’s insane and I just want to tell him. Suddenly I could hear his voice. He sounded frustrated just jumping around from tree top to tree top. “Man if he’s trying to hide he’s doing a bad job and making me look stupid in front of Jenifer. You better give up soon before I get seriously angry and kick your ass.” I took one quick look at Steffen when he said my name, but then I noticed that he wasn’t talking. What I was hearing were his thoughts!
Then from the opposite direction from where Steffen was looking I found him. I ran left from the direction that I found him. It was Doran, sitting behind a bush. I used the strength that I was given and grabbed him sternly by the neck with my right hand. “What are you doing spying on people?” when he heard my voice he loosened his mussels as he spoke. “For a second there I thought that you were Steffen. I’m glad it was you who caught me and not him. He probably would have kicked my ass again, but who cares about that how was meeting your human sister earlier? Did you tell her you are a vampire?” for some reason when he said that it’s like he had planned for me to meet her. “It was wrong. I made her think that I was dead and she doesn’t know that I’m a vampire either. Hay maybe I should hand you over to Steffen. I’m sure that he would like to have a chat with you. … Owe-my look there he is. It seems to me like he can see you.” Then he began to stiffing up again once he saw Steffen look at our direction. “Can you please let go of my neck?” I didn’t want to let go of him just yet. “I want to know why you are spying of me and Steffen?” he started to laugh hard then his smile faded away. “why in the world would I spy on Steffen. he is the worst subject to spy on. I am just keeping an eye out on our new subject.” New subject what the hell is he talking about? “What do you mean by new subject?” his smile returned and Steffen was standing beside me. “You’ll find out soon enough my dear Jenifer. Make sure you cure that hunger of yours, wouldn’t want you to go crazy cause you didn’t fill up now would we?” he knew I was hungry again.
“Well I think it’s time for me to take my leave wouldn’t you say so too Steffen. Besides I think you should be taking care of your little girlfriend here. UN-till we meet again my Lady Jenifer.” Then he was gone and my hand was in the air as if he was still there. When I finally put hand to my side I turned to Steffen. I could see that he was angry. Then I could hear his voice again. Still staring at him, I heard him speak. The only thing that was wrong was that his mouth was closed and not moving as he spoke the rude things about Doran.
