She was eight years old two weeks ago and Lucy was only seven now while Landon was about a year old. They had been with them for two months now. Homer had been less than pleased that she had brought home a baby, even with the note and Scar hadn't spoken to her after seeing Lucy's personality. "She won't survive," was all she had said. Eris had been quiet and reserved, only doing her jobs to keep money coming in to herself. Lucille was giving a regular, Bary, an entire bottle of whiskey when the Unicorns had barged in. "Lucille Ackerman," they had said and one of them pointed to her. "Come with us," they said, their angry gaze slightly diminished at the image before them.

A little girl, only eight years old, with ragged, unkempt shoulder length hair, wide gray eyes, and ragged patchwork clothes. "On what charges?" Eris demanded as she stormed into the room. "Multiple counts of assault on Military Officers, back off tramp," one of the men ordered and she glared at him. "You're one of the meanies!" Lucy yelled as Landon cried out in Rosemary's arms. "You, too brat! Both of you!" the man yelled. "On what accounts, may I ask?" Homer inquired as he carelessly scrubbed a glass. "Multiple accounts of assault on Military Officers as well as the murders of two Military Officers and an attempt to leave the City without payment," he said and Lucy flushed. "Three accounts, counting the attempt to smuggle another out," he said, referring to Landon. "Get out," an unfamiliar voice ordered.

Lucille saw a man sitting at a booth by himself with a single drink in his hand. His hair was black and his eyes gray and he wore a hat and dirty clothes. "Stay out of it, Ackerman," the Police ordered. "It sounds to me that you're going to take away a relative of mine," he said and she realized that this man was Kenny Ackerman. "How do you expect me to stay out of it, when I could simply ask Artie to blow all of your brains out?" he asked and the man backed off. "Multiple accounts of assault, murder, and the attempt to smuggle two out of the City are serious offenses. The king will--" whatever the man was about to say was never heard. "He'll what? Throw us all in jail? He's already done that," Kenny said nonchalantly. "Get out," he repeated. "Or what?" the man taunted.

Bary stood up, much taller than all of the Police and much more muscular and he was known to hate the Military Police. Well, everyone was but him more so. They killed his brother on fake accounts that he had assaulted them as well and attempted to smuggle himself out of the City, as well as his father who had rushed to his son's aid, leaving Bary an orphan as his mother had died from the illness that often took the lives of people in the Underground City. "You'll get a boot so far up your ass you'll be tasting leather for a week," he threatened and the man backed off. "That brat is going to get what she deserves. Proper punishment, mutts," he said as they left, undoubtedly pissed. Three against one, especially with rifles, wasn't bad odds but they wouldn't have time to react before the rest of them attacked as well.

"Thanks?" Lucille asked as she blinked confusedly at Bary and Kenny. "No kid is getting arrested," Bary said before downing his drink. "Come here, kid," Kenny said softly and Lucille did just that. "You do look like your mom, and brother," he said. "You ever see Levi?" he asked. "I guess when I look in a mirror?" she said and he chuckled. "You're Lucille, the girl who got two Police killed, beat two herself, and just scared off three more," he said and she flushed and glared at him. "That wasn't my fault, the first two. And I didn't tell either of you to do anything," she snapped. "No, no you didn't. But were not the other two?" he asked and she was quiet. "You like to clean?" he asked. "Not really... I don't like it unclean, but neat is fine," she said with confusion and he laughed. "You're not your brother at all," he said before paying and leaving her alone. "They're meanies!" Lucy snapped. "Shut up," Lucille said coldly. "If you're gonna smuggle someone, make it me," Spike said sarcastically.

It was late at night now and Lucille was alone with Spike and Lucy. They had the stolen goods in their hands, food and medicines though the latter was mainly for stocking up, and were finally able to stop running. "That went well," Spike said. "Shut up," Lucille said. "Don't be a meanie!" Lucy chirped and Spike nodded. "Yeah, don't be a meanie Lucy 1," he said with a smirk and she glared at him.

Ever since she came home with a baby and a six year old, she had been dubbed Lucy 1 and the six year old was Lucy 2. She was like an annoying little sister that she never wanted, yet had grown attached too. She missed the quiet, but she knew she would miss the loudness more if she lost it but she couldn't help but be a... meanie. She was overly bubbly in personality and the nagging feeling of Scar's words echoed in her ears nonstop.

Lucille froze as she heard the zipping sound of 3DMG echo. "Military Police," she said quietly. "What?" Lucy asked loudly. "Military Police," Lucille hissed out. "What now?" Spike asked and Lucille noticed the various people surrounding them, though they would typically look like normal thugs and people of the Underground or dirty Police making dirty deals and doing dirty deeds. They were only in the City because the king had issues that needed to be taken care of, and the charges on Lucille's name was a bother. Especially if she managed to escape the City and cause more problems. "Don't scatter, they may be surrounding," she said. "Take Loud Mouth back to Homer's," she ordered before handing her items to said girl. "It's Lucy," the girl muttered as Spike carefully led her away.

"Alright, brat. There's an easy way and there's a hard way," the same condescending voice of the Military Police from a week ago said as he seemingly appeared right in front of her. "Couldn't handle the bloodshed way?" she asked as she brandished a knife and stabbed him in the thigh. He screamed in pain and people began to scatter and run and she saw Spike and Lucy disappear into the crowd. She took off running before shooting the wires of her gear into the nearest and sturdiest building and flying into the air. "Look!" someone pointed. Asshole. Lucille thought bitterly as she did a complex maneuver and landed gracefully, quietly thanking Homer all the while.

She had fared quite well until she was cornered by the same woman that had been spared as well as the man she had stabbed and two more men, one holding Spike and the other holding Lucy. She glared at them. "They didn't do anything wrong," she said. The man rolled his eyes as he bandaged his leg. "He refused to cooperate," he said, pointing to Spike who spit in his eye. "And she attempted to smuggle herself and another out of the City," he said, pointing to Lucy now. "A child and a baby, can you really not make enough room for that or are you just that selfish?" Lucille snapped and the man punched her in the face, causing stars to pop behind her eyes and she fell onto the ground. She felt warmth on her head and knew she was bleeding. "It is illegal to leave the City without payment," he said. "How do you expect us to get money when you don't help at all?" she retorted and he kicked her in the stomach, causing her to spit out blood. "You're as bad as your piece of shit brother," he said coldly as he kept kicking and punching, not once stopping. She didn't cry. Not even once. Not even after she was littered with bruises and cuts and blood.

"You will be taken into custody," he said, revealing a pair of handcuffs. "Then at least..." she began, coughing out blood. "Let them go, and you'll get cooperation," she spat out more blood. He raised an eyebrow. "You think I'm going to bargain with an eight year old?" he asked sarcastically. "No, you're to much of a pig," she snapped and he kicked her again. "You still have that look in your eyes that says, 'I'm gonna kill you'," he said after a while. "I can kick the shit out of you until you die but even after you're dead you'd still have that bitchy look. It doesn't hurt on the inside when it's who receiving the pain. But what about when it's your friend?" he asked and she glared at him. "You'll suffer a more painful death," she said, though she had never really killed anyone before. "We'll see," he said before stepping on her head, causing the blackness to overtake everything.
