Jinyoung's POV
Jihoon and I was watching a show as we sat on the couch.
"Hey Jinyoung, I just realised something. We're already dating but we don't have each other's phone number." I looked at him and smiled.
"Why do I need your number when I'm already going to be with you every single day?" He got shy and hid his face into my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around him and kept him warm.
"No but seriously, I need your number." I nodded as I took his phone and keyed in my number.
"What are you going to save my contact name as?" I asked.
"Hmm....cheesy Jinyoung" He laughed at his own words.
"Hey! How am I cheesy?"
"You always say lame pick up lines."
"But you still love me" I smirked and look down at him. He looked back up at me and our noses hit.
"Ouch..." He looked back down and patted his nose.
"Why is your nose so sharp?"
"Thank you for your compliment."
"Jinyoung ah" He looked up at me but this time, slowly. I hummed as a form of reply.
"I love you" My heart has never beat so fast before.
Those 3 words,
I've never heard those 3 words for a very long time. Not since my parents passed away. They were everything I ever had. All that was left is the house, which I've sold to buy this small apartment and also enough for me to survive. I miss them so much. I miss the moments where we would have movie nights and have supper no matter what time it was.
I've never loved anyone since. Not until Jihoon came into my life. I've never want to protect anyone before, but Jihoon was an exception. He was someone that made me felt that I was loved after my parents were gone. I was so grateful that there was someone willing to spend the rest of their lives with me, not thinking that I was a burden.
"Jinyoung? Are you okay?" I didn't realised that I was deep in thoughts and spacing out.
"I'm fine." He looks worried. I didn't want him to be worried. He's so precious to me. I can never lose him, ever.
"Hyung, I love you too."
