Before the Birthday

-@theclassroom, 3 days since Kana saw the guy she became more sad than ever-

Natsume: *notices that Kana was sad* Are you okay.. Kana?

Kana: *smiles weakly* Yeah I'm okay just tired but okay..

Natsume: *looks concern but didn't ask anymore* Just approach me if something bothers you..okay?

Kana: *nods*

-Throughout the day Kana didn't see any of her friends including Rikuo who's on rooftop with the gang watching the poor Kana to walk away, they all wondering what could possibly made her sadden-

Yura: I hope Kana is okay she's been a lil bit off..

Saori: She's avoiding us, did you guys did something? *eyeing her friends suspiciously*

-They all shook their heads-

Shima: *sigh* I think we just talk to her tomorrow and see what we can do.

Oikawa: Sounds fine..

Kiyotsugo: Okay.. Let's go home !

-Next morning Kana apologized to her friends for worrying them saying she was just thinking a lot, in the end they forgave her and they start talking about Kana's birthday when Natsume mentions it*

Kiyotsugo: What are your plans tomorrow for your birthday Kana?

Kana: I was thinking we could do the celebration in the restaurant, my parents reserved the place for tomorrow.

Rikuo: Sounds great..!

-Everbody suddenly lighten up and they all nod-

-Night time came Kana was on the way to her home after meeting the manager who will organize the place with her friends tag along, did she little know some of the yokais lurking around watching her intently, before they could lunged at her Kana turn around too see them as she screamed and starts running for her dear life-

-Meanwhile Rikuo who's scratching his head and cursing his self for forgetting his portfolio, he already send Aotabo and Tsurara to home but before that they insist to accompany him back to the school as it was part of their role as his personal bodyguards, they kept argue more until Rikuo won and says that he will he fine-

-Oh boy he was wrong, he heard a scream not so far away from him, it was familiar..instantly Rikuo run to the source of the voice, he hid behind the bush next to him watching the yokais attacked Kana.....WAIT KANA?!-

Beat.

Beat.

Beat.

-Rikuo felt a loud pang inside his body before he could register what's happening he already transform into the night form, the night Rikuo didn't hide anymore, he nonchalantly walks towards the yokais who's cornering Kana, with a swing of his sword the yokais was suddenly fall on the ground lifeless leaving their leader stare at him with a terrified look even Kana was scared to process what was just happen-

Night Rikuo: *points the sword at the yokai leader* Go! And be sure you wouldn't show your face here again if you do, I'll be having your head next time.

-The yokai leader shriek at the threat and runs-

-After that Night Rikuo was just about to leave but Kana stopped him-

Kana: WAIT ! *runs beside him*

Night Rikuo: *stares at her*

Kana: I knew you.. I think I saw you somwhere !.. Urgh..*shakes her head*  You awfully quite familiar.

Night Rikuo: *smiles fondly* Didn't your parents teach you to stay away from the yokais like me?

Kana: *shook her head again* No, your different I can feel it, you even saved me..*looks up to him* I want to know more about you !

Night Rikuo: You really want to?

Kana: *nods*

Night Rikuo : *snakes his arm around Kana's neck and whispered* Let's go then.
