This is actually two different poems based on real events and based off of each other.

One year shy of high school,

She thought she make it there,

No one would have thought,

Her life could not be spared.

One simple accident,

Led to everybody’s grief,

Even those she didn’t know,

Fell like a drifting leaf.

Now people talk as they forget,

The pain which was endured,

As an angel left this sacred place,

Her voice can still be heard.

Look deep inside your precious heart,

And look into hers too,

Do for her, what she wants most,

And remember she still loves you.

Two years short of eight-teen,

He had almost made it there,

Until ridicule and harshness,

Made his heart nothing but bare.

He forgot for one single minute,

All those who loved him well,

For there were too many who hated,

And just watched him cry and quell.

One day the pain became too much,

He just wanted to end his life,

So he took one simple medal gun,

To his head with such a stride.

So now we see his courage,

As he smiles there in Heaven,

A life could’ve been spared,

It only took a second.
