There he was, standing there, watching her slowly consume her only happiness left in the world, alcohol. She had ordered the same thing for the past week. One bottle of whiskey and one bottle of vodka. She was a lonely woman he observed, she always came in the bar alone, and left alone, but he wasn't letting her leave alone today, today would be the day he would meet the woman of his dreams.

He was dazzling of course, light brown hair spiked up due to his gel. Light tan skin, straight white teeth. He was in all senses irresistible. But why didn't she notice him? He had women all over him, except the one he wanted. He needed to get her attention in some way. But how?

He walked towards her, fixing his hair and wiping his face. Making sure he was, indeed, irresistible. He sat next to her, she didn't even look his way. "Why?", he thought. Then he spoke, "hello beautiful, could I offer you a drink?" She looked and started out the bar. He couldn't stand rejection, so he did what he had to.
