I screamed in fear as my body tumbled down a rocky hill. My clothes ripped and shredded as sticks caught them. My coat fell off and blew away. I continued to tumble....tumble....tumble.
Finally, my body hit the ground. A sharp oof! escaped from my mouth as the air got knocked out of me. My head hit on a rock, splattering blood on it. I lay unconscious for several hours.
When I woke up, frozen blood lay on the rock, and on my head. I sat up and rubbed my head. "Ow..." I mumbled. I haven't realized that my stomach was growling until I heard a snap. My head whipped towards the direction of that sound.
A rabbit hopped out, wriggling its tiny, pink nose around the snow. It started to dig a hole. It hopped in the hole and started to rummage through it. It came back out with berries in its mouth. It hopped back into the bush.
I slowly got up and rushed over to the hole. I peeked in and saw a big handful of berries. I immediately took them out and shoved them in my dry mouth.
The berries crunched under my teeth and I swallowed them down. They tasted like dry dirt but at least it was food. I walked away and sat under a tree. Goosebumps ran along my arms and down my legs.
A strong wind blew my hair in all different directions. I cursed under my breath as I started to freeze. I didn't have anything else on my mind except one question: Who did this to me?
