The soft, sullen ground crunched beneath Rain's feet as she walked through the clearing, her new boots already ruined up from the soft mud which hang clung onto them. The drive to Alaska had been a tiring one, one full on stops and starts, one filled with a thousand cups of coffee to the point where she now felt she couldn't stand still. Indeed, she couldn't. She had reached her beloved destination, Alaska – the place she had dreamed of living since her feet moved her to walk.

A thunder drop pounded the ground in front of her she watched in awe, watched as if she had never witness rain pour from the darkened skies. Arguably she should despise such weather as from where she came from, little lone island of England, rain was almost an everyday occurrence. Yet here it was different, so, so different. There was almost something magical to it, that made her light up with excitement, her arms outstretched, her head titled back up into the sky she let out a laugh. Now the rain really poured, pounded against her bare face and her hands, and made her muddy boots even more of a mess. Yet she didn't care because she knew she was home. Knew a thousand adventures rested at her feet. Knew she belonged here, and that the pull which was drawing here had finally stopped tugging at her.

In the edge of the clearing she was stood in about ten minutes away from the compact city of Skagway watched a creature, its paws dug firmly into the mud, still, careful not to make any noise, careful to not frighten the young women it was watching. It relaxed as it watched in awe, watched how rain could make a girl so happy, however, it knew it was a beast. It knew if the women saw she would run, and fear it for what it truly was, no one could ever love such a beast.

Yet they were both to discover that a Blaze needs it's calming Rain, monsters can be hidden in their darkest of places...
