Team Zenith

They were getting us all together, all of the different kids. We each had a story. These are our stories.

Conor and Jack:

One day Jack and his older brother Conor were going out to hang with their friends. (Jack age 14 & Conor age 15.) "Dude lets go to the lake. We can go fishing and paint faces!" one of their friends, Luke, told them. Everyone agreed, but the lake was a mile away and they had to walk there. Jack concentrated on getting to the lake and he was there in a flash, that caught everyone's attention. Then in school the next day people started making fun of him "Look it's speedy the rat!" someone yelled. Everyone laughed and made fun of him. Connor wouldn't take that. He got so made that when he went to punch a kid a concussion of power reverberated out of him and pushed the kid against the wall. That's when Zenith found them.

Summer ( age 16): She was in school one day when the cheerleaders walked up to her, "Freak!" they yelled at her. "Fugly!" another laughed. They took every lunch tray that she tried to pick up. So, this time she wasn't going to take it. She glared at the bins of what looked like slop that was in front of the girls and they started to bubble. With the wink of an eye, the slop blew up all over the cheerleaders. That's when Zenith found her.

Cindy (age 15): She was in the halls one day when these boys were acting perverted. "Sl*t" they said, "Wh*re". Then they took it too far, one went to reach for a personal space on her. In one reaction she turned around and punched him............ Then he flew across the room and broke the wall. That's when Zenith found her.

Dylan (Age 16): Dylan was in math class one day when he was called on to go to the board and complete the problem. Dylan liked just being the unnoticed rebel. He liked staying in the back of the room and making all of the other kids laugh. When he walked up to the board he wished he wasn't being seen............. Then his entire body turned invisible. Everyone in the classrooms' mouth was open, even the teacher's. That's when Zenith found him.

Allison (Age 13): She never knew what was going on. When she was 8 years old her parents discovered her powers, she didn't even know what was happening at the time. Allie had been watching super hero movies when she started having that super heroes' powers. What just happened? What did you do Allie?" her mother asked her. "What? I was just thinking about having super powers." the youngster answered. When her parents discovered her powers they left Allie. They left her in the streets to fend for herself. One day she was walking around the streets when she felt cold. She didn't know it was bad, but she lit her hand up, it was on fire. She walked around with the fire from her hands when a man walked up to her. "Excuse me, what are you doing?" he asked the messed up teenager. "Nothing." she said as she turned around with her hand on fire. The man's eyes went big and he looked around to see if anyone else was looking, "Where are your parents?" he asked. She shook her head no, "They left." she answered. "Where?" he asked her. "I don't know." she told him. "Do you know when they'll be back?" he asked her. "Well, it's been 5 years, it could be any day now. I don't know. They haven't sent me a letter or anything." The man, who was wearing a shirt with a big "Z" on it signaled over to the van at the corner. The van came around he corner and pulled up to them, "We can take you some place where you can have a roof over your head, food to eat, and a family." he told Allie. "I don't think I should go with strangers, but since nothing is holding me here, I guess I'll go." In the van the man explained that there were judges who would decide if you should stay at the place. He also told her that they were judging her on how cool her power was, he told her to just be herself.

When she got to the place they walked up to a group of all older kids. They went inside and sat in chairs to start the judging. Some kids were crazy; they thought that blinking their eyes quickly or blowing snot bubbles meant they had powers. Then a boy named Jack walked up, "Show and tell time, show me what you got." a man said. The boy started to vibrate and he dashed around the room, causing wind to fly through the air. He was picked. Then the boy's brother, Connor walked up, he made a concussion that made the table fly into the air, checked. Next, a girl named Summer walked up, she made a cup float in the air, checked. Another girl named Cindy came up to the stand and threw the table across the room, this table had been bolted into the ground, check. Then a boy named Dylan walked up. A man at the table made fun of him, "Dude, what's with the James Dean haircut and lousy attitude?" Then the boy disappeared before my eyes! He was invisible, checked. Then it was my turn.

I walked up and stood there for a second, I didn't know what to do. "So, what?" the man at the desk asked. I remembered what was happening. I lit my hand on fire and watched as he reacted in surprise. "Holly crap!" the dude yelled. I threw some fireballs and was checked off. I made it! but I was about to find out that there was more to me than what there seemed to be.

Yeah I know this I bad. I just wanted to experiment with ideas. If you read this thanks. Ima keep at it because I love super heroes and had this idea for a while. If you reading this you should go read my other book My Version of Teen Wolf. Thanks!
