Chapter 5

Recap of the last chapter....

"IM STUBBORN AND SELFISH!? " I let out a chuckle as the tears start to continue streaming down now, "says the guy who I gave my heart too and the next day we go on a mission u 'die'" I say making air quotes with my fingers, "doesn't come back after three years, I get a call 2 hrs ago from happy and apparently ur alive and u need us bc ur in trouble. So Yh ur right I guess I was always the selfish one" I say and I choke back a sob and my bottom lip trembles.

Currently in this chapter...

I wipe the tears violently out of my eyes.

"wait Lucy-"

"dont you u dare Lucy me bc u know damn right u meant Every Single Word," I spit back.

I start running to the exit to go back home. I ignore the shouts and all of the apologize coming from Natsu. The wind is cold having goosebumps make their way onto my skin. I stop and lean against the mountain side for support as I feel my knees buckle beneath me. I slowly slide down, pull my knees to my chest as a quiet sob escape my lips. I slowly feel my eyes getting heavier and heavier by the second. Eventually I gave away to the darkness and let my tiredness get the best of me and I slip into slumber in the middle of no where. I feel a warm feeling start to engulf me and a pair of strong arms wrap around me and I immediately snuggle deeper into the person's chest and I inhale and big breath of the scent of cinnamon and apple. I instantly know who it is and I automatically feel much safer.

"It's ok love I've got you ur safe now. I'm not gonna let anyone hurt u now, " I hear Leo whisper into my ear as his warm breath fans over my face and a gentle yet caring kiss is placed on my forehead as he left his lips linger there for a little before starting to track home with me in his arms. I let myself drift back to sleep knowing I was instantly safe.

I was woken up again when I felt myself being lowered onto a bed. His bed(leo). I feel the mattress dip and and hand snakes across my waist as he spoons me and we both fall asleep.

Natsu's POV

I've screwed up... I know what I said was wrong but I couldn't help but be angry and feel my blood boil when I saw and soon found out that Leo has MY girl. Lucy Heartfelia Is the love of my life. I WILL find a way to get her back, even if it means I die at least I know I had her.
