[I've Seen Better]

Vincent's POV (from when Scarlett arrived at the party)

I watched as Scarlett entered Craig's house. He walked up to her, drunk as hell, I saw his eyes wander over her body. I felt something wet splash onto me. I was squeezing my cup so tight it broke. I swear if he tries anything on her I'll kill him...whoa, where the hell did that come from? I got a reputation as a no woman guy for a reason. So, why am I acting this way over some chick?

'She's more than just some chick to you, and you know that' my subconscious said.

'Oh shut it' I thought annoyed. Wow, I can't believe it. I'm fighting with myself, I've officially lost my mind.

I looked over to where Scarlett was, and she was gone. I started to panic, thinking the worst and that she'd gone upstairs with Craig. She's too innocent to be taken advantage of by some fucking pig!

I raced upstairs and saw Craig making his way towards the bathroom. I ran into him, grabbing him by the collar.

"Where's Scarlett?" I hissed at him, gripping tighter onto his collar by the second.

"I don't know, that bitch left me high and dry. You should've seen her dress though, I'll be dreaming about her in that dress tonight," he sighed dreamily. I kneed him in the groin, hearing him talk about her like that drove me insane. I walked away from him, hearing his muffled groans of pain.

I walked back downstairs, Ryder walked up to me with a red cup in his hand. His breath reeked of alcohol. He had to repeat what he was saying a few times because his words kept slurring.

"I said...y-you should've s-seen your girl dancing, s-she looks smoking tonight," he slurred with a dumb smirk, I shot him a glare," sorry bro, didn't know you were serious about her...don't look at me like that, she's not my type."

"It's alright, and me? Serious about her? You kidding me, Ryder?" I told him, he gave me a look of disbelief and shook his head.

"If you're lookin' for her, I saw her go out there with that loser Tristan," he said and walked away. Most likely going to get another drink.

I saw Scarlett outside with Tristan, he was too close to her for my liking. She tried pushing him away a few times, but he wouldn't budge. She looked uncomfortable, and he was just ignoring all the signs that screamed I don't like you.

I was walking up to them before I knew it, anger blocking out my senses. She was leaning back as far away as she could in his grip,"...listen Tristan, you're really not my type."

"Aw, don't say that babe," he said, leaning forwards, trying to kiss her. That was when I lost it, I finally broke my silence.

"She said, you're not her type," a voice said that sounded harsh. It took me a moment to realize that it was me who seas talking. Scarlett looked over at me, she held a small smile on her face. I looked over at Tristan and scowled at him," I suggest you leave her alone before you have to pick your teeth up from the ground."

He fled fast. Sprinting away like a coward. I laughed a bit at how scared he is of me.

"I can't stand that guy," I mumbled, running a hand through my hair. There goes the hair gel I put into it.

"Uh, thanks for doing that. I could've handled that though," She said softly and turned away, I let out a scoff. She didn't even make it far before I said such a dumbass thing to her.
