An: Hey people! This is a new story that @HalosAndHeroes helped me write. Hope you guys like it.

It began as a normal day at Lincoln High. Or, as normal as your first day of senior year could get for the foster twins Alisa and Asher. They kept their heads down, as normal, and managed to scrape through the day without too much drama. They made their way across town, as they did everyday, towards home, using the power of their feet because neither of them had a car. Asher was in the middle of describing how excited he was for the football season when they passed the park. A strange yellow smoke was coming off the usually clean lawn of Gustavus Park.

"Hey Ali, let's go check it out!" Asher exclaimed excitedly. He was always up for adventure; Alisa preferred to think things through before jumping into the deep end.

"I don't think so Ash, it looks radioactive!" Alisa complained.

"Relax, it'll be fine!" he said before running off. Alisa followed, hoping nothing bad was about to happen. When they reached what seemed to be the source of the smoke, they found it was a huge creator. The hole was at least three feet deep and twenty feet across and there was something inside. Correction. Somethings.

The objects within the crater revealed themselves to be three, rather oddly dressed, men. They were sprawled about like puppets on cut strings. They were not, as far as the twins could tell, radioactive. Asher puncher his sister in the arm. "Told you."

The tallest of the men, nearing on six and a half feet, was dressed in well cared for armor that made him look like something off a King Arthur movie. Across his broad shoulders was a deep green cloak with gold stitching, bearing what looked like a flying serpent on one corner. Ash was immediately jealous of his muscles.

Near him, splayed on his side, was a willowy young man, from what they could tell, edging on his growth spurt. He was five-tenish with silvery, blonde hair flowing out of his hornless helmet. The Viking was swathed in thick furs and mail, a great wooden shield on his back and a Warhammer by his side.

Last, there was a six-ish foot tall man with a shock pitch black hair with a small scar by his left ear. He wore a grey flight suit of some sort, speckle with flashing buttons and glowing blue tubes. He had a medium build, with muscles only slightly smaller than Asher's.

The knight stirred and heaved a groan. "That boar packed one hell of a punch," came the rumbling baritone from beneath the helmet. He removed his helm to reveal multi-colored eyes that wouldn't stay a single shade. He had a strong jaw and tanned skin that bespoke hard labor.

"Come on Asher we have to help them!" Alisa said quickly before jumping into the creator. She ran over to the knight and tried to help him stand. Having no upper body strength, she failed. The knight gently pushed her away before standing on his own. So she ran over to the young man in the flight suit instead.

He stirred and glared at her. "I am quite capable of standing, thank you very much. This isn't my first time through the wormhole."

"Well excuse me for helping a passed out man in the middle of a CRATER!" Alisa's tone shocked her she was never the type of person to yell at someone.

He sneered and adjusted his flight suit, glancing at his watch, or so they thought it was a watch. "Ah. I forgot how primitive 2017 was. Tell me, can you direct me to the nearest automobile?" he asked slowly, as if to a child.

Before Alisa could respond, her brother punched the flight suit guy in the face. "What the heck just happened!?! You jumped into a crater and started speaking to some snobby guy. Honestly Ali, what am I supposed to do when some dude asks all condescending to my baby sister?"
