Chapter 13: Will You.....listen to the song please!

Two weeks pass and it's my birthday! Brennen told me that he was gonna throw a party for me and he has several surprises for me. WOW! I love him so much, so that's why i'm going to propose to him!

Brennen's point of view:

Two weeks pass and it's (Y/N)'s birthday! What she doesn't know is that I paid for her family in Kansas to come here and stay for a week! And I am going to propose to her also!!!

Why does Brennen have so many surprises for me? is it just because it's my birthday? Right now I don't care I just need to get the party set up. It is going to be at James Irvine Japanese Garden here in L.A.! I am so very excited about it. The inly reason why we got to book it because Brennen got enough money for it after finding out the price. I told him that I really didn't care where we had my party at. I also told him that I would much rather have it at the house but NNOO Brennen said. YOU NEED A PROPER PARTY Brennen said! He is so difficult sometimes.

Time lasp 2 hours

Two hours go by and me and Brennen are almost done setting the place up for the party. I actually can't wait for my surprises from Brennen! I know he will be very excited about mine to him! Hopefully he doesn't propose to me because I told his mom about it. I told her to tell him that I wasn't ready to be married just yet if he had any ideas.

Brennen's point of view:

I just can't wait to propose to (Y/N) today. Wait, I totally forgot that she ain't ready for it. I asked her if she wanted to get married anytime soon and she said no. I guess this will have to wait till February.

Me and Brennen finish up what we were doing and we go outside to wait for the others to arrive.

"Hey Brennen."

"Yes babe?"

"I love you the mostest!"

"No you don't (Y/N)!"

"YES I DO!"

"OH NO YOU DON'T!"

Brennen starts chasing me around the lawn. he doesn't catch me until I saw people driving in. So I stopped and he wrapped his arms around me and said that he caught me but I hushed him.

As we started greeting people, I glanced at Brennen. He seemed like he was faking his happiness. He looks depressed or sad about something. He is just worried about how the party is going to go I bet. Well he needs to know that everything will be just fine because he is going to be more happy at this party than I will be.

We are about 5 hours into the party and the speeches come up. These speeches are to me about how I have been an important part of who ever is talking's life. Then at the very end of it I will do one. And during my speech I will have Brennen come up with me and I will propose. After my speech we will end the party and we all go home. But me and Brennen are going to go home and pack our bags to go to Hawaii! Mainly because Bruno Mars is having a concert there and I want to try to sneak into the crowd. I am so funny sometimes. But I also want to have fun with Brennen and get away from home.

So everyone but Brennen and me went.
"Brennen, babe, it's your turn to do a speech."
"Oh yeah right wish me luck!"
"Break a leg!"

"I just want to dedicate this speech to my lovely girlfriend , (Y/N),  she has always been there for me and i have always been there for her. I trust her and she trusts me. I want to wish you a happy happy happy  birthday babe........" Brennen kept talking and i kept thinking of the ways i could mess up when i say my speech and propose to him. Why am i so nervous. About and hour passes and Brennen finishes his speech.
It's finally my turn. As i am walking up to the stage area, brennen mouths 'i love you' and i mouth it back.
"Hey guys how ya'll doin? Im doin pretty good. I am so happy and so grateful that everyone is here today. And thank ya'll so much for coming too. I want to just.... i don't know how to say this..... I am just truly blessed to have you guys here to support me when i have been at my lowest point. And i just moved here to L.A. as ya'll know a couple years ago. And i got a apartment right beside Brennen's. As me , Elton, and his roommates were packing my things into my place, i ran into Brennen and our eyes locked. From that moment, i truly thought that my life was going to me totally different with him. I asked him to help with my things from the moving truck and i embarrassed myself in front of him.(everyone laughs) And i thought to myself, 'what the hell did i just do! I can't believe i done that! Im so stupid!' But then i caught Brennen staring at me. I asked him 'Brennen, why are you looking at me like that?' What he told me blew my mind. He told me the reason why he was looking at me like that was because i was beautiful. And that was the very first time i ever been called beautiful by a guy. My family has called me beautiful, but never a guy. So that touched me. And the next morning, i heard a knock on my door. I go to check who it was. It was my landlord telling me a reminder about my rent. Not even 2 minutes later, i hear another knock on my door. 'Is this the landlord again?' I said that to myself. But when i checked to see if it was my landlord, it was brennen coming to tell me he just got kicked out of his apartment for not paying his rent. Wow brennen wow. He asks me if he can stay with me...." as i go on and on its about 2 or 3 hours later till i get to the end of my speech.

"Brennen will you cone up here with me." He comes up with a confused look.
"Brennen as everyone heard along with you my speech, i loved you so much and i really want to take our relationship to another level."
I get down on one knee and take out the ring.
"Brennen Taylor, will you marry me?"
"YES!!"
