Its come to my attention that my book is extremely confusing . I'll explain everything, Athena, the protaganist goes to Gravity falls for the first time in a lomg time in the summer to see her family from her mothers side, she stumbles upon Bills statue and when she shakes his hand, he erases her memories and mixes them up telling half of the truth of what really happened. Becauses of the deal she made with him, the deal forces her to fall in love with him but then she realizes what's going on and the deal is broken, causing her to become angry with him for messing around with her mind. Those pain pills in the beginning was because she was on her month and her cramps ruin her day and obviously I didn't want to write " oh she's on her period so she's acting like a bitch " no. Anyways, her father was abusive to her mother and her since his only son was gay for gabe, so he didnt want that for Athena and notice how her best friend, who is now gone for the moment , lily, was falling in love with her and thought holy shit my daught might be gay . yes he's homophobic and thats why I killed him off. Athena makes another deal with him as she sees lily being choked to death by this demon, basically saying hey if don't kill my family and friends I'll stay with you. She awakens some powers which later in the book turns her other cousins, jay and Alex into demons, nut that comes later in the book. She falls in love with bill and tells him, becoming his forever girlfriend and a couple days later her 'aunt' Carole, I think, tries to kill her. Once she kills her father, half of her personality re-awakens and she slowly becomes herself again. Now I explained everything . I will never, probably, do this again.
