I let go.
I had let my only child slip away in a custody battle with her father. He wanted full custody, when I was willing to go half and half with him.
Bey's POV
I sat on the side of my bed with my head buried into my hands. Today was the day I went to court over who won custody over my 5 Year old daughter, Mariah "Mimi".
Before the court hearing, she had been living with her father. I've been a total mess. Without her beautiful smile waking me up every morning I didn't know what to do.

"We are going to call Mariah up to the stand to answer some simple questions" The Judge declared. Mimi skipped up top the stand and took a seat.
"Now Mariah who's house do you like living in better?" He asked
"Hmmmm... Mommy always feeds me pancakes, but daddy feeds me waffles so i choose....
You could see her doing eeny meeny Miny moe with her fingers. Everybody in the room awwed and laughed.
"I choose Daddy" She declared.
Emmanuel (her father) looked At me with that evil smile that he gives me when he's right.
"Now Ms.Prescott-
Before the judge could finish Mimi cut him off with her giggling.
"Whats so funny Mimi?" Emmanuel asked?
"He called me Ms." She said while giggling
Everybody in the room started laughing.
"Okay Mimi, At Who's house do you feel the most comfortable at?" The Judge asked
"Mommy's, Daddy's smells like Marijuana" Mimi stated while making a face
"Mr.Prescott, Is this true?" The Judge asked Emmanuel
"Yes, but for medical purposes" Emmanuel said nervously
"Really? Because here it states that Marijuana for Medical purposes was outlawed 7 years Ago, So how are you using marijuana for medical purposes?" The Judge asked
3 Hours later
I can't believe I let that demon win custody of my daughter. I sat in my car crying as I banged my head against the steering wheel. People had walked by and stared but I didn't care. My daughter was the only person who made me smile.
Other then Of course Shawn (My billionaire boyfriend) & his two kids Milan and Matteo.

I walked in the house and At this point I wasn't even sad or depressed, now I was mad.
"BB" Matteo yelled as I walked in the house. Being so upset, I pushed him off of me as he hugged me.
Milan came around the corner and saw Matteo sitting on the floor crying into his hands. She mean mugged me. I turned away and walked into the room And slammed the door so loud.
I stepped out of my clothes and got in the shower. I let the water hit my face and other parts of my body.
I saw Shawn walk in the room and he hopped In the shower with me. He embraced me and we took it easy that night.
