Dead below the stars

Part 1 / By myself..

My name is Alison...

I am the last one on earth..

It's not that hard to survive..

There is some food around here..

Animals

And there is no one to kill me here..

And you are probably thinking how am I the only one on earth..

Well I don't remember anything..

My parents

My home

My whole life..

And I just woke up in a lab to see dead people laying around the place and I had a note in my hand..

I am the only one here..

I can scream

Shout

But nothing helps..

They called the disease "The Restart"

Restart of what?

I was walking..

I walk into a house with my orange juice carton..

It's so sad to see all the dead families..

I sigh

I get some food out of the cupboards and put them in my bag and walk out of the house.

I sit on a bench and finish my juice

And I take out my map out of my bag..

I point to California..

"My destination..." I say

I have my bag full up with food..

I can grab a car..

I start walking

I grab a car I look for the keys..

They were on the drivers seat..

Perfect.

I start the engine hoping there is some petrol..

I grin at the full tank..

Thank goodness..

I start driving..

California is a long way from here..

So I better get starting.

The journey is just normal quiet and silent..

It has been a few hours and it's turning dark..

I look at the beautiful stars..

I wish I could have a normal life..

But I won't

And I know that.

I stop in the middle of nowhere and I see a house not so faraway from here.

Maybe I can stay there for awhile?

I take my bag and my keys and walk towards the house.

The house's door was open I walked in and it was empty i See a bedroom and I sit on the bed and put my bag on the floor.

I lay on the bed..

Thinking what would happen next.

What if I'm not the only one on earth?

I'll just go rest it's really dark and I'm tired..
