Josh walks into the large room filled with kids. "I'll be back later okay? " His mom says, kissing him on the forehead. He holds on tightly to her leg, not letting go. "Its okay Josh. Go have fun". He sighed and walks over to a wall of cubbies. He scans them over, looking for his name. Bottom row, third cubbie.
He put up his book bag and looked out into the class full of kids his age. One corner is a group of kids playing with black paint. One has straight black hair and dark eyes. His name tag says "Gerard". Another kid is covered in black magic marker. He also has black hair. His name tag says "Frank". Josh is curious as to why he is covered in marker, so he decides to introduce him self.
"Hi. My name is Josh" he says, walking up to them. Frank shoves a fist full of goldfish crackers in his mouth. "I'm Gerard, and that's frank" Gerard says pointing to frank. "Why are you covered in marker?" Josh asks. "its my tattoos" Frank says, his voice muffled by a mouth full of crackers. Josh scrunches his face in disgust. "w-well I'm just goona be over here" Josh says shuffling out of the conversation.
Josh looks around the class room. In a corner he sees a kid sitting at a table, playing a small keyboard. Josh loved music and had experimented with playing the drums before. He eagerly ran up to the kid. "Hi! My names Josh" Josh said sitting down at the table. The kid looked up. He had short dark hair and cute rosey cheeks. "i-im Tyler" the kid stuttered. "Nice to meet you. I'm new here" Josh says. "Oh" Tyler looks back down at his piano. Every few seconds he would twitch. Josh didn't say anything cause he didn't want to be rude. "There a-are a few more in-instruments in that basket" Tyler said, pointing to a small basket on the floor. "Thanks Tyler." Josh says, sorting through the basket of instruments. "Your welcome Josh" Tyler said. "Hmm, Josh, Josh, Josh. What a pretty name". Josh laughed "thanks, Tyler, Tyler, Tyler". Tyler laughed.
Josh picked up a small drum and began to hit it. Tyler tried to play something on the piano. "You sound good" Josh said, trying to encourage Tyler. "So do you" Tyler said. "We should start a band" Tyler said. "Yeah" Josh agreed
