While he drives, you sit there in silence. He seems real upset but what can you do ? There's so much happening in one day . You don't know why he's acting up all of a sudden.
"Hyungwon..." You say.
He doesn't say a thing . He keeps driving and driving . No music . Completely silent .
• 15 mins later •
"We're here. Get out." He says.
Without hesitation, You take your seat belt off and open your door. You find yourself at the beach ... you guys are the only ones here . You close the door and walk over to Hyungwon.
"What are we doing here?" You asked. He says, "Let me show you why I brought you here."
He grabs your hand and start walking to where the picnic tables were and sat down. You couldn't help but wonder why in the fuck he brought you there.
"Listen ... it's not a good idea to ditch the first day of our senior year to come to the beach." You say.
He looks up at you.
"Did you think I wanted to ditch? Ever since this summer you have stressed me out and I can't help letting another guy come into your life just to leave you crying at night." He says. "Wow ..... low blow dude low blow." You say with sadness.
You guys sit there in silence, but while it was quiet you couldn't help but get more furious.
"First of all, What does that shit have to do with ditching school! Second, if you knew I was gonna her hurt, why didn't you stop me? And lastly, I'm out of here." You yelled.
You get up from your seat and start walking towards the car. You grab your phone out and called an Uber ... but before you could tell the guy where your location is; Hyungwon comes in front of you and hugs you tightly.
"I'm sorry." He says.
You hug him back .... and hang up your phone .
"Look ... I need to talk to you. It's important I tell you now ... I've been waiting forever to tell you and I feel like this is the right time." He whispers in my ear.
You guys let go of each other and he looks deep into your eyes. You could tell he was serious.
"What is it?" You asked.
"I've loved you since we became super close. I don't even know how my feelings just switched up on me ... but I think about you day and night and I stress out when you wanna be with someone that isn't me. I hate seeing you hurt . I know I'm saying so much right now ... but I can't hold it in anymore .." He says.
I look at him and then look down.
"Hyungwon .... I thought about me and you for awhile now and how our relationship would stress free because we've known each tother for so long. But .... what if me and you trying this out and we lose that friendship?" You expressed.
"I know and that is what has been holding me back ... our friendship." He added.
You guys both look at each other without saying a word. A few minutes later he breaks the silence.
"How about this. How about we try it out ... and if we feel like we can't handle it we will go back to how things were and pretend nothing happened." He delivered.
"Okay ... let's give it a shot then." You answered.
His face brightens up and he's smiling again. You couldn't help but smile as well.
"Well ... let's make this official then" He acknowledged.
"I thought it was al ready official." You remarked.
"No it's not . Y/N will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.
"Hmmm no.... just kidding .. yes!" You shouted.
He hugs you once more and pulls away.
"You have no idea how happy I am right now." He expressed.
You smile at him and then you both get into the car and drive back home. When you hear people say .. time goes by when you're having fun .... you believe it. School was already done ... who would've thought the first day would be like this.
