Chapter 10

Mark P.O.V

I woke up to the smell of waffles and eggs rushing through my lungs, so I got out of bed to see where it was coming come.

When I walked into the kitchen, I saw that Emily was cooking. She didn't notice me so I walked up behind her and hugged her from behind.

Since she finished, she turned off the fire and told me to go sit at the table, but I refused.

I knew she had to move the food to the plates but the frying pan was hot so I offered to do it for her and transferred the food to the plates before she could reply.

Once the food was on the table and we started eating, I was thinking that maybe we could head to the beach and have a nice swim and also a stroll.

Both Emily and I finished eating after about 30 minutes and Emily got up and putted the plates into the sink, I hugged her and turned her around and kissed her.

Emily P.O.V

After we kissed, I washed the dishes while Mark went to get ready.

Once I was done, I went to get dress and putted my essentials into my bag and headed out to the car where Mark was already waiting for me.

On the ride to our destination, Mark held the wheel with one hand and the other with mine. We didn't talk or anything but yet it wasn't awkward.

Soon, we were at our destination, and I realized that it was a beach. I applied sunscreen and got out of the car.

Mark P.O.V

Once Emily got out of my car, I pulled her into the water and splashed her.

That started a water fight.

At the end we were both soaking wet, and Emily decided to dry off but taking a tan.

While Emily was tanning, I walked around and noticed these familiar guy. I didn't know who it was but I had a gut feeling I knew him. When he looked my way and shouted, "Sup Mark!" I realized it was Anthony. A girl was right next to him and she also looked familiar. It took me a while but I realized it was Hien.

They came running over to me and asked me why I was here and I told them that I was on vacation with Emily. They asked me where Emily was and I told them she was taking a tan over there, while pointing toward Emily. Hien wanted to talk to Emily so she suggested if we should go to where Emily was and catch up and life events. I replied, "Sure." And walked toward where my Jakiya was.

Once Emily realized that Hien and Anthony  were also in Paris, they talked and Hien told Emily that they were on their honeymoon. Emily gasped and I knew why but both Hien and Anthony didn't understand. Hien asked about the ring that I putted on her finger and Emily replied with a simple, "we're engaged."

Hien started to freak out and Anthony was just sitting there.

It was getting late so Hien and Anthony left and Emily and I went for a evening stroll on the beach. Every once in a while, we would splash each other and mess around.

After walking for about an hour, we headed back to our hotel and Emily called Tiffie and told her about the coincidental meeting with Hien and Anthony.

Emily P.O.V

While I was talking to Tiffie on the phone, Mark hugged me from behind and snuggled. I kissed his cheek as he drifted off to sleep. Once he was asleep I told Tiffie goodbye and went to charge my phone and got back into bed and drifted off into dreamland.

A/N

For the next few weeks, we will be updating less because of how busy we both are and our finals are coming up so /.\ but we will try to update as often as we can.
