Betty when you don't show up to the dance

Betty had a crush on you and as well you did. She build the confidence to ask you to the back to school dance, you said yes. The night of the dance had finally came, it was raining but that didn't stop anyone. Betty said that she'll wait for you at the entrance. She waited for 30 minutes since the dance has started. She started to think that you stood her up. After another 30 minutes, she went inside. She was hurt and mad at you. What she didn't know was that on your drive to the dance. You had got into an accident. A drunk driver slammed their car into yours, hitting the passenger side. They were going 70 mph in a 40 mph street. You never saw them coming.
