30 october 1984 ; the day before halloween; 10:00 pm
samantha sat at her bedroom desk working on an English paper. It had only been her second day at hawkins high and she already had two papers and one project assigned. as she was looking up some information she got bored and decided to log onto aol for a bit. a little break couldn't hurt, right? typing in her username and password the computer started to make staring up noises.
she started updating her profile when the noice of a digital for opening sounded and on the top of her friends list it said hairgodsteve. samantha cringed a bit at the name. is he really that in love with his hair. the computer pinged signaling that someone had sent her a message.
hairgodsteve: hey sammi !
sammibabe: wats up steve !!
hairgodsteve is typing...
hairgodsteve: working on this stupid English paper hairgodsteve: hbu
sammibabe: same it's soooooo annoying
sammi made the window smaller and continued working on her essay while waiting for steve's reply. samantha started thinking about steve. she really started to see how great he is. maybe she was starting to like him. no! no you can't like him he has a girlfriend! sammi hated this about herself. she always had to like the guys with girlfriends.
