The Boy

Hannah POV

I felt a warm hand touch my shoulder. I turn to see these three boys. I finally move to see them clearly, away from the sun. I rolled my eyes. It was Derek, Daniel, and Jack. They have or had crushes on me. They always make the wrong move, by grabbing my ass or something. I never was fond of them. I haven't seen them since graduation. "Yes Derek?" I said firmly. I wasn't in the mood for them, ever since they grabbed my ass after graduation.

"Hey Hannah." Derek said softly. He seemed different, something was different. He seemed nicer, to have a softer tone to his voice. Jasmine stepped in. "And you need something?" She said in a sarcastic voice. "I need to talk to Hannah, Jasmine please." He said begging. "Fine." She said, rolling her eyes. I was getting multiple messages from Gray.

I walked with Derek and sat on the steps on the port. "Yes Derek?" I said looking away, down at the sand. "Please, forgive me Hannah. I didn't want to do any of that." I accepted his apology, but I knew that didn't leave the memories behind me. "Can I have your number atleast, maybe we can be friends?" He said. We exchanged numbers and we walked back to the area Jasmine was at.

He walked away with Jack and Daniel after saying goodbye. My phone was still blowing up from Gray. I finally checked every message he sent. It was all the same thing, "HANNAH." I responded saying "Yes, Gray?" He responded with "Cant wait for tomorrow." All I could do is blush like crazy. I looked up to see Derek looking at me on the far side of the beach.

He looked jealous as if he knew I was messaging Grayson or maybe he knew I was blushing from something on my phone. He seemed to be mad but when I made eye contact with him he smiled and waved. I waved back And started talking to Jasmine again.

Derek POV

I found her, Hannah Seav. She is so beautiful. I've had a crush on her since sophomore year. I've made every single wrong move to get her attention. I taped on her shoulder and she turned to me, she looked really annoyed. I talked to her for a while, and she was able to give me her number. I was happier than ever. I walked away and looked back at her. She was smiling at her phone. I started to tear, thinking she has someone already.

Hannah's POV

Derek was staring, every time I looked up he was looking at me. I was ready to leave, I was kind of getting weirded out. Grayson messaged me again and I felt safe again. I told Jasmine that I didn't want to stay here anymore because of Derek. So we walked away. We went to the ice cream shop and I sat down while Jasmine went to the our favorite ice creams. She came back and we ate and talked. I told her that I exchanged numbers with Derek.

She told me that Jack sat next to her and talked to her. She always had a crush on jack and she never knew Jack had a crush on her. Only I did because he told me, but she knows now that Jack told her. She was happy. She was beyond happy, she was excited, joyful, she was Jasmine. I can never describe her. She was amazing. I got a message from Grayson and talked to him for a while.

After a while, I finished messaging Grayson. Me and Jasmine finished out ice cream. We got up and threw our cups away and left the shop, walking to the apartment. We made it to the apartment and walked right in. We sat down and talked for hours. Suddenly I got a call from Grayson.
