Back and better(BWWM)

I was walking down the hall people were screaming and chanting but I didn't catch what they were saying. I pushed my way through the crowd and I saw Luke sitting on the floor with a busted lip and his glasses sitting crooked on his face he looked at me and then quickly away, I felt so bad I just wanted to tell them to stop and leave him alone but that really wasn't my place I wasn't the most popular yeah people knew my name and I did have a lot of friends but I wasn't all the way up there yah know what I mean, and honestly I was happy because once you become popular you change. Baby was me and Jamie's best friend when we were younger but when she became popular she threw us to the side, He looked at me again and I looked at him, I guess he could see the sadness in my eyes because he gave me a weak smile then got up. Weeks past and he was never at school I was angry because I never found the courage to talk to him and now he's gone. A few days later someone told me he moved and switched schools. I was happy because he wouldn't have to be around these people, who wants to come to school and get bullied and it's worst that this was our first year in high school and he wad bullied just form the way he looked just because he was a nerd, I was sad because he was gone for good and I never told him how I felt or even said a simple "hey"

I wake up in a rush, I couldn't breathe I was cold and wet?

"Aniyah this is my 3rd time coming in this room I hope I won't be in here for a forth" my mom screamed and walked out my room shutting the door behind her, I looked around my bed it was soaked and so was I.

"Great" I roll out of bed and took all my covers and sheets of my bed putting them on the floor. I went in the bathroom and did my morning routine brush teeth, wash face, get in shower, Etc. When I was done getting ready I went to find a outfit

When I was in the shower I wet my hair a bit so my hair wouldn't be frizzy and my curls would re-form I left my hair down. My curls went down to the middle of my back people were shook at how much hair I had because I was black. I put some earrings on and grabbed the necklace my dad got me before he died of cancer 6 years ago. I grabbed my bag and phone and ran down stairs I saw a note on the counter

I left for work early I'm going to be working double shifts tonight, so I'll be back home tomorrow morning love you lots breakfast is on the stove.

I quickly ate my breakfast and headed out the door to school, when I got to school it was the usual I met up with my best friend Jamie and her boyfriend James then we talked to some of our friends. We always caught Baby giving us dirty looks but we just waved in smiled making her turn red we laughed at her reactions and kept walking.
