by CharityBugg
There once was a sad lonely boy. His name was Hop. One day Hop was dropping some beats when he met a girl named Charity. Charity was crying. Hop said “Why are you crying?" Charity just kept on crying. Then Hop started rapping and showing Charity his beats and his music. This made Charity happy.
The next day, Charity saw Hop eating a mango. Charity walked over and sat next to Hop. "You like mangos" she asked Hop? Hop answered with another bite out of the mango. Then Hop dropped his mango. "Oh NO!" he shouted. Hop started to cry. Charity looked at Hop and said "why are you crying? We can buy some more.” Hop looked at Charity and said "No we can't. That was the last one they had."
"Oh" Charity said. Hop continued to cry. "Wait! I have an idea" Charity said. Hop looked at her, "Really?"
"Yes" Charity said. Charity then told Hop to meet her back here the next day.The next day Hop walked back to the tree. He saw Charity. "Hi" He, said. "Hey Hop!"
Hop wondered why Charity sounded so chipper. Then he saw two hiking backpacks. "Uh, what are those for", he asked. "Those Hop are for our trip" Hop looked at Charity confused. "Where are we going he asked?" Charity grinned at Hop. “We’re going to Mango city."Chapter two
They set out on the road. The sun was shining brightly and the tree’s we’re waving at us in the distance. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Hop looked at Charity and said “How are we going to get inside Mango city? Hasn’t it been like closed down?” He says this with such sadness. Charity just looked at Hop, saying nothing. Hop looked back. “Well?” He said. “Yes, it has been closed down for centuries. Mango City wasn’t destroyed, The GLE said that to keep out people like you and I.” Hop nodded, then said, “What’s the GLE?” Charity had a grim smile on her face. “The GLE, is the Government Law Enforcement.” Then Charity stopped walking and looked straight into Hop’s eyes, “I’m from Mango city. That’s why I’m here.
“What do you mean”, asked Hop. “You just said that it’s been closed for centuries. Anyways that’s not possible. No one could have lived there.” Charity sat down on a nearby rock. “We; my family, we’ve been living in Mango City for years. About a week ago, the GLE raided the city. Somebody gave them a tip, because they knew exactly where we were. Everything that I ever knew, ever loved, is gone. I grew up in Mango City Hop. The GLE will pay for destroying my home and family.” Hop looked at Charity and asked, “They destroyed your family?”
“Yes, she replied. “ I was out gathering more food and supplies. I came back and everything was gone, torn to pieces, and my family was nowhere to be found.” Hop looked at charity, “So are you for sure certain that they’re not just hiding? You know, playing it safe?” Charity shook her head, “No, I looked at our go to places, our emergency places. “Hop there is nothing left of the City.” “Then why am I going? He asked her.
She looked at him and said, “I never said the Mangos were gone.”
Chapter 3
Hop just looked at Charity shocked. They continued along the path until Charity came to a stop. “We stop here.” She said. Hop stopped walking, he looked at her waiting. Charity looked at Hop, “No outsider has ever been through here, I’m trusting you Hop” Hop looked at Charity and nodded okay. Charity looked at Hop again. Then she turned around in a circle 3 times, chanting under her breath. A path spilt open in the brick walls. “Ok, ready Hop”?
