Intro ~
As I start to phase, everything changes; Like it is a new life to me.. Quil is my name, and please don't wear it out. I am a werewolf and I would have never
imagined how it would be like one... No one told me about this, you know, about phasing and stuff. It seems weird to me.. I finally got to meet back with my friends and I'm happy about that because I finally get to catch up with what they have been doing. Hopefully, they go easy on me with all this protecting the reservation from the cold-ones.
1. Meeting The Pack ~
I'd like to know what was going on, why it was happening, and who did this all.. But most importantly why? Like, if I had a choice to become a werewolf; then sure, I'm in.. But they shouldn't have at least kept it a secret.. Sam & Emily are very outgoing, they are like leaders, who also treat me like their own son. Embry's awesome, but something that annoys me about him is that he is does not tell the truth a bit of the time. Speaking to him makes me realize that he has my back all the time, and that he enjoys my company. Jacob, my best friend! He is the best friend you can ask for. We hang out a lot now, it is quite amusing. Jared starts to freak me out now. He's like a little puppet who can pull other people's strings... There's nothing really I can say about him.. Paul is a bit of a follower, well from my point of view, he does now. Seth gets forced to stay home and study while Leah is with us.. After what happened to Harry, she is more moody than how she was before, and now that she's in the pack, she has to get used to the fact that Sam is in the pack too, and that he is engaged to Emily..
2. It's Where Everything Starts ~
So Emily has a niece named Claire; She makes me happy.. And I have chosen to imprint on her. I have announced that I will be anything for her, no matter what. She was only two years old when I saw her, she was visiting Emily with her sister. If she wants me, then we will have our own love connections. Days after, us as the wolf pack have been traveling around the reservation, it's been months and nothing has went wrong, the only problem I had was that I decided I should not have imprinted on Claire. Just because my aging process is delayed, doesn't mean I can just imprint on some two year old. But I'm guessing once you imprint, it's officially permanent. And that was a total downer. So there's a new family that has moved into a house next to Bella's. I have seen her around our area, but not frequently. So far what I know about her is that her name is Serena. She's 13 and above average height. I always end up thinking about her almost every night. I haven't had the nerve to visit her but I will try my best to impress her, and see if she will like me for who I am. The problem about her liking me for who I am, is that I am a werewolf.
3. Confidence ~
The only way I can talk to her is if I have some excuse to speak to her, in a friendly way.. Should I welcome her with some basket of muffins? No no no. That's too lame. A welcome to Forks card? Uhh, not so sure. I guess I just have to improvise. As I get dressed and get driven by Jake to her house, Jake gets to Bella's place while I get to Serena's. I arrived at her porch and I rang her doorbell and her mother answered.. I eagerly asked if Serena was there and this is how it all goes down: "Hi, and who are you?" Serena's mom asked. "Hello, I'm Quil and I just wanted to say.. Welcome to Forks! And may I ask, is Serena there?" Her mom gave me some why do you want to know look and sighed: "Yes, she is here, let me get her." As she walked halfway up the stairs and yelled out Serena's name, I did not know what to say.. She jumped down the stairs and out onto the porch.. She looked filipino to me.. Meanwhile she greeted me by asking in a confused way: "Hey, who are you?" I replied: "I'm Quil Ateara, and I've seen you around my area and just wanted to say Welcome to Forks!" "Well, thanks! You're one of the first people to welcome me here!" she said over-excited. I thought in my head, to might as well ask her out.. to some place fancy or what not. "So, do you like.. Wanna go out somewhere?" I asked slowly. 'Sure!" she exclaimed joyfully, as if she wanted to really badly. I'm starting to think I should imprint on her, there's like not much of a big age difference between us.. I told her that I would pick her up at 7pm to go for a walk, even though that is a lame date thing. I met back with Jake in his car and we drove back to where we normally hang by his house. He started to ask me about what I had said, and how she was like. I told him that she was really nice and my type of girl.. and I wasn't sure about telling him that I wanted to imprint on her.. By the time after chatting it was already 6:55pm and I had to get to her place quick. So I transformed in my werewolf self and ran to her house without anyone noticing. I turned back into my human form and walked up the stairs to her porch. I rang the doorbell again and this time her father opened the door. He had a sarcastic smile on his face and mumbled: "Hello, you must be my daughter's date. Now here are the rules, simple and quick and I won't repeat these again so got it?" He was speaking so fast I couldn't even understand him.. All I did was smile and nod, slowly... The only thing I could catch was be home by 11 and she must be in good condition or something like that.. Serena came down the stairs in a flower skirt with some tank thing covered by a leather jacket. Her father did not appreciate me taking her out on a date, but she seemed really happy. "Now you know the rules right Serena?" "Yes, I know daddy. You know I love you!" "You have a good time sweetheart.." He was tough like a rock, but soft as dough when he was around Serena. That made me laugh a bit too hard.
4. Taking Things Slowly ~
By the time we left the porch, we started to have really interesting conversations, like where are you from, what are your favorite colors, who is your favorite band.. And that list of questions went on and on and on. Until she questioned me this: "Have you ever fell in love with someone you had just met?" I stared at my feet after hearing that question.. And I hesitated: "Well, to be honest; yes." Oh, well me too!" she said and smiled. After that, I couldn't think of anything else to say, 'til I wanted to tell her something that I didn't have the guts to do; tell her that she's the one I'm in love with, and that there are so many things we can do to have a better relationship together. I didn't want to tell her this but it just came out of me like gushing water flowing out of a pipe: "I am in love with you Serena, I really am." We kept walking, and I noticed how she started to look towards me and started to smile at me more often. Well, everyone's dream after saying something like that is hearing their loved one to say it back.. But that's exactly what happened. She gasped and said: "You do?!?! Actually, I am in love with you too!!" Hearing her say that made me wanna transform into my wolf self and run around with glee! I asked her quietly: "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" "That's the problem.." she sighed anxiously. "My father doesn't want me to date guys like you.. But I want to, really like to A LOT. Seriously, A LOT." "But can't you go behind his back and date me?" I asked curiously. She started to hesitate: "I need to tell you something. Whenever I l do something wrong, or lie, he always know the truth.. I don't know how it's like someone's spying on me and he knows everything.. So I just can't.. I'm sorry Quil." I started to shiver and tilted my head back and forth and explained: "But what if I talk to your dad? I'm not any bad influence on you or anything!" "Fine." It was only about 8:28 but at the time this conversation had ended.. We agreed on seeing each other everyday, and try to work it out with her father. The both of us were too tired to walk around the neighborhood so we ended up cuddling on the couch at my place and watched movies.. Things started to get tiring for Serena and she fell asleep.. on me. It was really warm at my house and I stared at her the whole entire time, while she was twisting and turning around as she slept. By the time it was 10:50 and I had to wake her up with a kiss on the cheek.. Trust me, it was hard to reach her cheek since her face was into the couch. She woke up and smiled at me, and I had to smile back, giving her a peck on her other cheek. We walked all the way back to her house. This night was unforgettable.
5. What Goes Around, Comes Around ~
Thinking of Serena makes me happy all of the time. Her gorgeous smile, her stunning hair, her lovely personality... she has everything I would want in a girl.. Like her. The morning after, the wolf pack told me I had to meet up with them by the woods. So on my way there, I decided to run back and meet Serena. Her parents were asleep and she was in her pajamas. On the way there, I found some green flower; which is her favorite color. So I took it and gave it to her just to show her that I know her. She went back to sleep while I was protecting the reservation with the rest of the pack. Communicating with the pack isn't so hard, after all: we have special telepathy. On our way into the woods, Jared asked me: "So who's this Serena chick hmm?" I didn't know how he knew this but the whole telepathy explained it all. "So yeah, who is she? Jake told me you went out with her last night.. She cute?" "That has none of your concern Jared, so shut up." "Ooohooo!!" exclaimed Embry. "Hey you guys lay off, he's in love.." Jacob explained. Everyone paused, and looked at me, except for Paul, he just decided to sit out. "Explain to us, Quil." said Sam. "Who is this Serena?" "Well, umm.. She's a girl who had just moved into uhh.. Forks and umm, we are kinda secretly dating.. And err, yeah.. I haven't told her I am a werewolf but I plan on.. After I'll tell her that.. I want to "imprint" on her. "Wait what?!?!" yelled Jared. "You just imprinted on Claire months ago, what just happened?" "Well I can't imprint on Serena because I already did on Claire and I didn't have the choice. We're dating, and I told her that I love her." "That sucks Quil." Leah said sarcastically. "What are you going to do with Claire now? It's permanent!!!!!!" Paul exclaimed. "Are you just going to leave the imprint there and leave her?!?!" "Well, I want to imprint on Serena a few days from now but I can't since I already did on Claire." The chat ended, and we had a discussion over at Sam & Emily's place and had some lunch.
