12. Morning ~ (Chapter's 15-17 in about 2 days or so.)

Every morning, it's always the same thing. I wake up, and reach for my pillow on the other side of the bed. I have no idea how it gets there. Anyways, I stood up and left my bed as it always is: not made. I popped my head out of the door, to see if the coast was clear. Well it was. I noticed how my gran-dad's bedroom door was opened so I jogged to his room. Walking slowly to his bed, I saw him; I poked him numerous times to make me breakfast; because I was really lazy that morning. I lifted up the blanket covers and found pillows laid in a line. I actually fell for something like that. Looks like he wasn't there at all and I had to make my own breakfast. I went back to my room and got dressed. I picked out some black sleeveless shirt and my jean shorts.

I ran to the kitchen and turned on the oven, setting a frying pan on it and spread vegetable oil all over the pan. Then, I grabbed like a couple of eggs, and cracked them onto the pan. I also added salt as I waited for it to finish. It took like 4 minutes for the eggs to cook; an extra 2 minutes to put everything away. By the time the eggs were done, I grabbed two plates; one for me, the other for grandfather; just in case he came back. I separated the eggs evenly on the plate so that my dad and I would the fair share amount. I started eating my eggs after I had poured myself a cup of orange juice. I added a piece of sliced bread to my eggs and I didn't take my time eating. By the time I was close to finishing, dad came in through the door that my back was faced towards.

"Good morning, Quil, how was your sleep?" greeted my grandfather. "Good morning to you too and it was swell, you?." "It was alright, snoring a little I bet.." I thought to myself about how it wasn't a little. More like a lot. But I wasn't going to complain. I continued to eat the eggs, with the slice of bread already finished and the cup of orange juice waiting to be empty. I finished the eggs and chugged the juice. Then I just had the thought of the eggs. My dad was sitting down in the living room. I just had to yell. "HEY GRAN-DAD! I JUST REMEMBERED!" I walked up to him quickly but quietly. "There is a plate of eggs for you on the kitchen table. Oh, and I'm going to Jared's house." He looked away from the newspaper he had in his hands and looked at me. "Oh alright thanks. And yeah you have a good time." He didn't seem too content. "Well, I'm wash up before I leave grandpa." And I left with no response. I ran to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, the feeling of those bristles were tingly to my teeth. It was a bit sore to my gums though. The mint of so fresh, it actually felt like actual mint; not toothpaste. After brushing, I washed my face. As usual, I run water onto my soap and rub my face with the bubbles. I also washed my hands. Rinse and lather, and repeat like two times more. This face-washing process was refreshing.

13. Thoughts ~

I skipped through the halls and through the front door. I was actually on my way to Serena's place, not Jared's. Since her house wasn't too far, I took my time to get there. The whole time, I had always looked at what was in front of me. Not what was beside me or behind me. It could see Serena's house not very far away. I saw her father outside washing his car with the garage opened. I ran around the house, and rang the doorbell on their side door. Serena, looking very tired, opened the door; then hugged me gently, as if she were about to fall asleep on me. "Hey Serena, you sleep walking? Or are you just really tired?" She widened her eyes and blinked a couple of times. "Just really tired, Quil." Then she made a faint smile. "Do you wanna come in?" she asked. "Yeah, I came to hang out." I tried to think about Claire more than Serena because I had imprinted on her. And she is more important to me. She's my world. That was a sudden thought I got before I got to close to Serena. I turned around to see Serena having some hot chocolate which totally woke her up. Who drinks hot chocolate during summer? Well it was her choice. As she was sipping, I thought about how it was either best to leave her, and continue on with Claire, or stay with her, but kinda continue with Claire. I was more like 60% on the second choice; 40% on the first.

"So, what's up? What'd you do yesterday?" she asked me, wanting to know badly. "I went to protect the reservation with the pack. You know, it's a wolf thing. And then, I went to visit Claire, Emily's niece." She sighed for a second but I couldn't really tell if it was a sigh or heavy breathing. "Oh, that's good. Anything bad show up?" I told her about how there was a figure that got off onto the other side of the reservation but then decided to come back onto the reserve. I guess that's how East and South were tired. "Oh, so that's what happened? That's, alright. You'll get that thing the next chance you'll get!" She kissed me on the cheek. When she kissed me, that percentage on the first opinion increased up by 5%, and the second decreased by 5%. It was now 45%-55%. "Well, it was nice coming here, Serena." I said as I stood up. "You're leaving? That's pretty early don't you think?" she asked as if she didn't want me to leave. "Well, sorry; but I have to. My grandfather said just to visit and stay for like 10 minutes." "She frowned and sighed. "Fine then, bye Quil." She put her drink down and hugged me. I kissed her on the nose and left.

14. Bond ~

After walking out, she closed the door slowly and watched me as I walked off into the distance. I was on my way to Helen's house; to meet Claire. I didn't take my time walking there. This time something made me run. Maybe it was because she was so important to me nothing could stop me. So I ran. I needed Claire because she was the best thing that ever happened to me. I wanted to play with her and talk to her. Without her I'd be something else. I got to her house and knocked on her door. She wobbled to the door and looked through the window. I smiled and ran off, getting Helen. Helen opened the door and smiled. "Good mornin' Quil, lovely day is it not?" "Good morning to you too, where's lil' Claire?" I pretended not to know when obviously I was looking right at her. "She's right there Quil." I walked up behind Claire, and sat down; and putting her into my lap. "Hello there, Claire!" I said gracefully. She didn't laugh at all. She just grinned and started to blink. It looked like she was really tired too. I couldn't really play with her because she seemed like she wanted a nap. So I took her, and cradled her to sleep, and laid her in her crib. It felt like a bond to me at that time. Realizing that the 1st option decreased by 20% and the 2nd increased by 20%. That was a total of 25%- 75%. I sure admired Serena, but still, Claire was very important to me. I was now for sure that I may leave Serena. At least she can love Seth if she wanted to; I'll tell her that. I'll be sure to tell Serena I do not want to be her boyfriend anymore. Just friends. But I'll remember that I do still love her like a sister. I'll tell her soon tho.
