"Do you know how far Primrose Street is to Melrose Street?" I asked him impatiently with a matching glare.

"Yeah, not too far, Ares." He smiled as he gently stepped on the gas.

"Cool. So I don't understand why you had to take so long to get me, Caleb." I retorted while the idiot just laughed.

"I'm sorry. I had this leggy blond wrapped around my waist so I had to finish or else we'll both be cranky." He answered with another smirk.

"Wipe that smirk off your face and stop bitchin'. Any new assignments?" I wondered as I flexed my knuckles since the blood had dried.

"Wow, you did a number on him, didn't you?" He breathed out as he glanced at my hands. "Anyways, yeah. The name's Dino Merdiotti and he's looking for a stripper to replace his favourite, Ms Ali Stonestreet who was found dead in her apartment this morning.

"Unfortunately, our true friends in blue can't catch him red handed because the other corrupt boys in blue favors him because they're under his payroll. So, since our friends are desperate, they hired us."
