I finally met Asriel's father, Asgore. When Azzy had carried me back to their home, I hadn't noticed that their house was not a house at all, but a castle and Toriel, Asgore, and Asriel were all part of the royal family. It took a minute to sink in. "The royal family took me in! Wow, I won the lottery on this one" I thought. Then Asriel came in.
"Hey," he said. "Are you feeling any better?"
"Yeah, I feel a lot stronger," I replied.
"That's great! We all really like you, and my parents want to know if you'll stay and live with us."
"Of course! Oh thank you thank you thank you!"I hugged Asriel as tight as I could. He ran to go to tell his parents the good news. Or are they my parents now too? I mean, they treat me like their own child.
Later that day we had a big fancy dinner in the dining room to celebrate me coming to live with them. I had only been in the underground for a little while and it had already felt more like home. I felt safe. I felt like I belonged.
The dinner was great, but I had this guilty feeling about the orphanage back up at the surface. I hoped they were doing alright. I wanted to tell them, but I knew they wouldn't agree and I didn't want to argue in front of the little ones. This guilt stayed with me all throughout the night. But in the morning I remembered that they would get through no matter what. I believed in them. But still, I shouldn't have just left them like that.
Welp that's it for chapter 4! The dialogue between them is always so awkward!!! Idk how to make it not awkward. I need serious help. Anyway, hope you enjoyed that. It's kinda weird how they were just like, "COME LIVE WITH US HEHE" but okay. I had to fit it in somewhere. Okay, I have 4 views so far. Do you think I can reach 10 views by the end of the week? Teeeeeellll meeeeee
