I ran till my lungs gave out, the two strangers chasing me. They kept on calling "Lauren", but there was no one else around. Who is Lauren? There was no way it was me right? Have the gone mad?
I looked back behind me and found that the strangers stopped running. They probably gave up on trying to catch me. How long have I been running? It felt like hours. I had no idea where I was going.
One question layed in my mind: Why were they even chasing me? It isn't as if I'm someone important to them. "Lauren please. We are exhausted. Can you just stop running?" Screamed the woman, loud enough so that I would hear her. Here we go with that name again. I could hear the man's murmurs but could not distinguish the words he was saying. I kept moving away until I couldn't hear his voice.
Suddenly, a red and white van blocked my way. Ambulance was written on both sides. Ambulance? What does that mean? The back of the van opened as two men dressed in white stepped out. I looked around to find the strangers next to me, still out of breath. I backed away when the man started speaking.
One of the white dressed men started nodding in understanding. The other one came closer and closer to me saying: "don't worry. We are medics. We are here to help you and take you to the hospital." Medics? Hospital? What are all these words I don't understand? Do they even have a meaning? And they are here to help me? If they were, they would let me get away from these people, not block my way. When did my life get twisted upside down? I couldn't remember anything happened yesterday. I couldn't remember a single thing. I don't think anything bad happened.
"Don't get any closer to me." I growled at them with a loud voice, walking backwards slowly, away from them. I was surprised by my own voice. It didn't sound like mine. The white-dressed man jumped in surprise. The second one joined his side. Right when i was about to break into a run again, i tripped and the whole world suddenly went black.
