"Ah shoot I'm going to be late! Mer why didn't you wake me!" I yell to my sister that was in the other room I presumed. Running down the hall to the bathroom room I quickly strip my clothes off and hop in the shower taking a quick shower as I didn't want to be late but I smelled like baby. I am a peds nurse currently while I'm in school to be a doctor, hence why I smell like a baby I take care of them all day or night depending on the day of the week. Today's Saturday so I work a 12 hour shift from 7-7, I've been a nurse at settle grace hospital for about a year and a half. Meredith is just starting her internship there today. After I hop out of the shower and headed to my room and threw on my light pink scrubs being a peds nurse they won't us to wear light pastel like colors. I hop down the stairs seeing boxes everywhere and Mer sleeping on top of a man I've never seen before. I sigh and decided it's best not to see a strange man naked before coffee. I head to the kitchen and grab one of my premade breakfast oatmeal's out of the fridge and pop it in the microwave to warm it a bit just so it doesn't freeze my mouth. As my oatmeal is heating up I brew the coffee knowing Mer will need it. I finish up in the kitchen grab my breakfast and head to the door where I grab my coat seeing as it's March and still a bit chilly. I grab my keys and purse and head out but not before I yell to Meredith and slam the door so I wake them up knowing if Meredith is late the chief will have her head. I show up at the hospital and start to head inside but not before I'm stopped by what seems to be a new intern. "Hi, I'm not sure where I'm supposed to be going and you seem like you know what you're doing" he smirks at me "I think maybe you can find your own way I have work to do" I say with a bright smile. "Whatever you're a stupid nurse anyways" he scoffs before pushing past me. I huff knowing that's how most arrogant surgeons are.
