"Wanna come to Starbucks with me?"
Ryan smiled at Theo, he loved him too much to stay mad.
"I-I can't, Leon said I can't go out."
Theo turned away from Ryan, who in turn was very confused. Ryan turned Theo to looks at him.
"Oh come on. You love starbu-"
Theo shifts his gaze to Ryan, with tears in his eyes.
"Theo... Are those... Contact lenses?"

"You're such a strange person, Ryan."
Theo says as he starts making me a cup of coffee. I chuckle nervously and scratch the back of my neck. He's so sweet. Like honey. Killer bee honey. He walks over to the living room and sets them on the dark oak table. He flops on the sofa and I sit with him. Then he leans his head on me. My cheeks flare up. Theo looks up at me. He hasn't taken off his contact lenses. I point to his eyes.
"Hey Theo, don't you think you should take your contact lenses off? You know, their prescription now and you have fine vision."
Theo looks back to the TV, a cutesy romance film on.
"Leon likes it this way."
I frown. It's always about Leon. Leon this. Leon that. Always Leon. Why did he pick Leon?
"So? He's not here."
Theo looks away, seemingly getting quite uncomfortable. I always do this. Make him upset..
"Sorry, I'll... I'll stop mentioning it.."
He shakes his head, smiling.
"No, it's alright. I... I just find comfort in keeping them in, I guess."
He faces me, with that smile. That bittersweet smile. He just keeps pulls me closer.
"That's fine, I guess.."
I look away, seeing those contact lenses make me feel sick. It feels like Leon will always mean more than me.
He'll always mean more than me, won't he?
